Note the US East coast airing was interrupted because of a live news event during the playing of Pocket Change.

Hmm, I'm on the East Coast and I saw the Pocket Change playing in its entirely.

PUTTING THIS IN WHITE SO AS TO NOT SPOIL:
If you're interested in how the game went, the car was valued at $21,893. The contestant made four mistakes, so the car was worth $1.25. The contestant only accumulated $0.75 ($0.10, $0.05, $0.10, $0.25) and subsequently lost.

I was interrupted just after the fourth contestant came on down! What were the other two games in the second half besides Pocket Change?

I am watching in Canada.  If a live event interrupts the program it's only on the US channel not the Canadian one.

Well it wasn't everywhere because I saw Pocket Change, so it seemed like it was an Optional Preemption? IDK but the President was speaking so I am not too certain that this was Optional. DC would usually preempt on Optional Preemptions and didn't this time around.

WBZ in Boston was not pre-empted.  Also, Harper played Pocket Change, not anyone named Jen.

Here in Dallas/Ft Worth, Plinko, Squeeze Play, and Pocket ˘hange were all preempted.  We saw everything up to and including SCSD1 as well as SCSD2 and the Showcases.

I would’ve lost Take Two — the tablets being $828 and the target total being $4528 would have been screaming “keep the tablets” to me, though admittedly I would’ve been scratching my head trying to figure out what costs $3700.  The 28 ending on the tablets totally misled me; most other days that would’ve been one of the two prizes to pick. 😕
