I haven’t watched the entire episode yet due to breaking news, but I did see the very nice, deliberate, and well-paced playing of Switcheroo. It had been a while since I’d seen someone pass on taking another 30 seconds.

Winning combinations on Pay the Rent:
1. Attic: Supplement ($10.99)
2. Second floor: Chicken and sugar cubes ($10.28)
3. First floor: Deodorant and mac & cheese ($9.48)
4. Mailbox: Veggies ($2.29)

This one actually involves putting the least expensive item in the mailbox (!!!):
1. Attic: Supplement ($10.99)
2. Second floor: Chicken and sugar cubes ($10.28)
3. First floor: Veggies and deodorant ($9.78)
4. Mailbox: Mac & cheese ($1.99)

It looks like as long as you put the supplement in the attic and you paired one of the more expensive items with the less expensive item, you would have a good chance at winning $100,000.

Also, it seems like an eternity since anyone won the car on Switcheroo.

There were four possible solutions in Pay the Rent:

Mac & Cheese (1.99) < Vegetables + Deodorant (2.29 + 7.49 = 9.78) < Sugar Cubes + Chicken Tenders (3.79 + 6.49 = 10.28) < Supplement (10.99)
Vegetables (2.29) < Mac & Cheese + Deodorant (1.99 + 7.49 = 9.48) < Sugar Cubes + Chicken Tenders (3.79 + 6.49 = 10.28) < Supplement (10.99)
Sugar Cubes (3.79) < Mac & Cheese + Chicken Tenders (1.99 + 6.49 = 8.48) < Vegetables + Deodorant (2.29 + 7.49 = 9.78) < Supplement (10.99)
Sugar Cubes (3.79) < Vegetables + Chicken Tenders (2.29 + 6.49 = 8.78) < Mac & Cheese + Deodorant (1.99 + 7.49 = 9.48) < Supplement (10.99)

That's wild that one of the solutions in Pay the Rent included the cheapest item being in the mailbox.  How often is that a thing?

Staying on 2 prizes in Switcheroo, being that confident in having the car and being right...wow.  Impressive.

I think Drew finally came full circle on his Switcheroo hosting with that bailout and win. What a moment.

Typically it's only the case when the game is played on a special or during Christmas week when they make the setup really easy.
