Golden. Because the show was celebrating its golden anniversary.

I finally saw this tonight, not realizing it had aired 3 months earlier. A very touching tribute to Bob Barker and all the great moments of the show. (Unfortunately there were a few scenes of the "Save the Price is Right" Era, but I can forgive those.)

I love the fact that they threw out the normal rules for pricing games and just used whichever six games they wanted. Golden Road sixth, two grocery games... stuff you'd only see if you're playing the home game. (Would have rather seen Any Number than Grocery Game, but that's just me.) The showcases were surprisingly not all that special... come on, you've got to put a Viper or something in that second showcase. Overall, though, a great two hours and a lot of fun.

^Any Number would've been nice, I was surprised they played Hole in One rather than Any #. Though since they offered a vintage car it had to be a game where the car isn't being priced.

FYI, the Dodge Viper discontinued in 2017.

Ratings are out for last Wednesday's repeat of this special. The rerun did 5.25 million viewers , more than the OA of this show ( 3.93 million , show was 9-11pm when it 1st aired )

Sorry for bumping this, but they re-aired the episode again tonight.  Still a great episode, even when you know the results!

Also noted that they corrected the date of the debut of the rainbow Showcase Showdown wheel.  Someone must have finally noticed!
