Apex Surplus and 19S-5 Displays

Since Surplus Sales ran out of 19S-8 displays a while ago (I know... boooooooooo!), I decided to source for more eggcrates.

A kind man commented on tomcat's video and stated he found some smaller 19S-5 displays from Apex Surplus in California. Winner winner!

And I would like to give him a round of applause for his effort on making an Arduino-based eggcrate clock, too. I don't think anyone has done that with proper eggcrates before!

On a side note, the 19S-5 displays are MUCH cheaper than what the 19S-8 displays cost... $25 a 5" digit vs. $75 an 8" digit! w00t!
