Very nice wins in Hole in One (no need for two this time) and Dice Game. And how about Sean’s backflip, in full uniform and dress shoes?? Wow!!

And a three prize game (today it was One Wrong Price) with three models (and not the announcer)? One for each prize? Good ol’ days. 😊

Give me that Challenger! 😊

Happy 4th of July everyone.

Great episode all around!

In the Discord, we were all kid of upset when Alan picked 8 instead of the themed 4. The moral here is that kids are bad.

I can't say that they set this show up to be 6/6, but with setups like 530 in Safe, it's clear they wanted a lot won.

Also, what was up with that Hole in One setup? The red bull was $7.99, and the whitening kit $26.99, based on past episodes.
"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."

Happy 4th of July everyone.

I enjoy George working OWP (and Most Expensive), but a blast from the past I guess LOL!  On another note, one of the last times they had 3 models, they still stuck with their normal 2-model routine for ORP, which I found odd.

Speaking of OWP, I don't against contestants, but I guess it wasn't too bad for me that it wasn't won, but that was mainly to avoid a painful 5/6.  Plus Berlyn won pretty big, meaning everyone won something today.  OWP was fairly easy if one did his or her homework.

We joked a little about Alan's kid "costing him" a rather easy 1/2 off win.  Had he turned nine, he'd have won.  Too bad; but a lot easier to assume it's Box 4 at home than on stage.  At least he achieved perfect pricing and $1000.  Can't blame Alan for keeping the first showcase, but I felt it was an easy pass for something better.  Berlyn's showcase was better (and won too).

Despite a show with a favorable setup (typical for a holiday special), one still had to work for the victory in Dice and Hole, so those were nice.

Happy Independence Day!

With her win on the sixth IUFB, Berlyn prevented an all-male show. I wonder when that last happened, if ever (an all-male show would be essentially impossible in typical episodes, which generally only have 4 men at most).

Rather fittingly, both contestants who lost their pricing games made it to the showcase. This, along with a really expensive Hole in One prize, contributed to Berlyn, despite winning her showcase, not being the episode's biggest winner.

The band version of The Price Is Right theme song heard at the beginning is one of the best covers I’ve ever heard. I wish there was a recording of it.

As soon as Drew pointed out the whole 4th of July thing on 1/2 Off, I knew the contestant had lost. In case you needed any more evidence that the placement of the money isn’t random, there it is.

Great episode today.  Since all 4 major branches of the military were used plus the Coast Guard and at least 1 contestant from each branch was called down it was a good thing all made it up on stage.  Great car and trip wins.  Most importantly it's a good thing Sean landed his backflip perfectly.  Last thing he'd want to have happen is dirty his uniform or scuff his shoes.

I’d say the last thing he’d have wanted was to land face first or flat on his ass.

For a minute, I thought they were "testing out" a new version of the theme to be used next season, before Drew mentioned the Marine band.

Loved the Marine band playing the theme during the intro. An excellent rendition.

I just knew the money in 1/2 Off would be in box 4 for the 4th of July. At least he got $1,000.

Great job by Sean in Dice Game, and what a backflip!

Wow that was cruel to put the $13.49 dog treats in Hole in One. I really thought he had them placed perfectly except maybe for the energy drink and almonds. He made a perfect putt though, so all is well.

I was between the motorbike and the exercise machine in One Wrong Price. Both looked like the price showing was too high.

Hole was probably setup up the way it was today to get the contestant at least to the 3th line or closer.
Today's show also offered the most expensive car ever offered and won in Dice Game's history ( previous high was $26,165 in 2008 )

When Alan got the third set of prizes right in 1/2 Off, I was hoping it would be between boxes 4 and 13 to make July 4th an "easy" choice. Maybe if they had done it this way...
