The first appearance of It’s in The Bag for Season 51.  Unless I’m missing something, all the cash games have shown up at least once.

Very solid playing from showcase winner & first on stage contestant Michaelie (sp).  Rather fast paced & confident, and then when it came up to the final grocery product, she knew without hesitation to stop.  Save for the use & info on grocery products that may have been used not too long ago, the cereal vs the PBJ spread was not easy.  A decent coin flip IMO; cereal can be worth $4.67, usually more than PB & J.  Though it’s been at least minute since I purchased or even checked out the latter.  I definitely walk after $8,000.

Balance Game again?  Meh.  Can’t really play Bonkers for a trip to Croatia I don’t think; Balance was perfect for those pondering the trip was in the $9K+ range.  Not for Croatia!  I’m not saying Marilyn played the game poorly.  In fact, she played it like a vet, but wasn’t right.  5 nights for two plus the other stuff is more likely to be worth north of $11,000.

Not a bad Lucky Seven price I don’t think.  Not easy, but not nasty either.  It just didn’t work out for Michael.

First show in quite a while where no one won money off of the big wheel.  However, the excitement in a SCSD continued with another spinoff between Marilyn & John.

Finally, I had to laugh at Michaelie thinking the One Bid rules applied in the Showcase.  Or not; she gave the showcase some thought, whether it was the showcase that wasn’t shown to her or John’s showcase.  All she needed to do was to bid $28,751!  Not that it mattered.

Of course, in most cases, I wouldn’t blame anyone for trying bid on the better showcase.  I thought the second showcase was awful.  However, Michaelie seemed genuinely excited over the motorcycles and the win so that’s fair enough

Looks like I forgot to post about Rat Race (thought I had added that in my response above).

I know I'm a big advocate of the max reward or a guarantee for perfect pricing.  There's no major need to alter any rules for Rat Race, but sometimes I think about how someone could go 3 for 3 in the pricing segment and end up with one prize (and not the car).  It was a moot point today, but I thought of John's "exacta" on the second product and wished that the option of a fourth rat or an additional rat would have been nice.

It's still a great, exciting game (and several times people have missed one of the three products).  That may be a discussion elsewhere on another day, but that aside, solid playing for John.  Looked like a guy that "did his homework" prior to being on the show

Timeline-worthy gaffe caught live by FieldsFan336 in chat today: Croatia's backdrop on the monitor was mistakenly Quebec's.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

At least surprising that they never put in an automatic getting all three rats for hitting one item exactly (like they have for Spelling Bee, getting all three cards when one item is priced exactly).

Two of the colors in the Rat Race recap are in the wrong places. John definitely chose the two outside lanes first, and then the middle lane; even Drew remarked about the resulting pattern. Also, apparently I'm not the only one who thinks the outside lanes are the best, although today they ended up 4th and 5th.

My mom thought that Michaelie always assumes the first Showcase would be passed, which I can definitely understand concerning her early attempt at a bid.

Probably time to note that I have never switched the lanes since the game debuted in my recaps. It's been an uninmportant thing to me.

Easy Switch setup. As a rule, the farther from LA, the more expensive the trip is.
