Hurricane Ian Disclaimer
« on: October 01, 2022, 11:08:31 AM »
Friday night's episode of TPIR opened with a discaimer.  Did any othercepisodes, rerun or not,  ever open with a disclaimer?

Title edited to add ‘Hurricane Ian’…”Disclaimer” is a bit vague on its own. - Weatherman

What was the disclaimer?  It wasn't in the online version of the episode.

I’m sure that was because one of the showcases had a trip to Naples, Florida.

Daytime episodes with trips to Florida can be delayed several months.

Primetime episodes can’t. Hence the disclaimer being very prominent.

Password looks like any idiot could have made it up, but we have 14 of our people working on that show. There is a great complexity behind the screen. It requires great work to keep it simple."

Not a disclaimer, but there were two episodes in season 34 that were delayed several months until near the end of the season because they offered trips to New Orleans and when they did air there was a PSA by a Louisiana senator prior to the episodes.

Otherwise I think anytime they've had a disclaimer because of a trip offered it was shown during the end credits. They used a disclaimer about COVID during the new episodes aired between March and the end of the season 2020 too.

Don't they still show the same COVID disclaimer?

They also aired it at the end of the show as well (I didn't see the very beginning, and was sort of surprised they were showing it with the trip in the showcase, but then saw the added screen which made sense).
