“Every once in awhile…”  Oh please. Get outta here with that double overbid stat Drew!

Overall, I guess they are rare.  Whether it’s 10 Double Overbids or a couple more/less, it’s still too many for my liking.

I was thinking Danielle should’ve bid $1 or really $20,000, I thought it was rather apparent that Christopher went over, but I can see that Danielle may have thought he didn’t.  As much as I admire the boats, those are a pain.  It’s either cheap or just too expensive.  Gotta know the details.

A rather rare opening one-bid emulation of Bob & pretty much verbatim.  “And That designer luggage package goes to the one of you four who bids closest to the ARP without going over.”  Carey pretty much mentions it on each show, but not word for word in the style Barker did.  Just a minor thing I noticed in the opening act.

Larry managed to escape contestants row and he almost won 10 Chances.  Sure he wasted a couple of chances, but that Grill Package did him in.  Otherwise I think he wins.  Despite thinking he was playing as if he was in Season 11 and not Season 51 he didn’t do too bad.  He was on the right track with his ninth pick before he wasn’t with his final chance.

Nice shirt on Benjamin who had family on the show 21 seasons ago.  He didn’t make it to the showcase, though he came close to a chance at it with a tie for $1.00.  At least he won a nice home office set.

Prior to his showcase overbid (from close to pretty far), tough break in Grocery Game for Christopher.  However, he got some decent birthday money.  $1,000 would’ve been okay, but $11,000 pretty much helps toward a nice day despite not winning anything (other than the fourth IUFB).

Okay show, Drew was in pretty good spirits, I think

SeaBreeze341, according to the recap, Benjamin spun a total of $0.65 in the Showcase Showdown NOT $1.00 as you put it in your reply

Someone actually went the other two in the second chance of Take Two. That was interesting.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

I found it funny that the marker was drying up in Ten Chances. I suppose they do need a new one. For one thing, you can only have contestants break the "zero rule" so many times. :P

Weird to see both the gold logo and light border from last season. They obviously still have all those graphics available to key up, I’d guess someone goofed.
