While better than yesterday's show in terms of the car win department, it was pretty much over from the start in Cover Up & Dice Game.  A wipeout for the former, and not much better for the latter.  The Master Key was found, but no knowledge of whether the other key was the car one or a dud.

I can't really call the end of Time is Money a painful loss; while the stuff was correct at the end & time ran out right before the buzzer hit, the eventual showcase winner was rather slow and lacked hussle.  FWIW, no big deal; she missed out on about $500

The season of wipeouts continues , with Cover's 3rd wipeout of the Drew era.

If Iím not mistaken, there was only one wipeout in the Barker era of this game (1993-2007).

It appears that the producers have gone in a different direction with this yearís Dream Car Week: instead of offering one dream car per show thatís extremely expensive ($70,000+), theyíre offering multiple higher-end cars that top out at around $60,000.

I wouldnít have gotten the second digit correct in Cover Up until my third try. That Lincoln looked expensive; I would have gone with $48K and then $45K before the correct $40K.

Iím glad they used a classic car cue for the Alfa Romeo in Master Key. How about more of those? The auto music in current rotation is pretty bad, especially the one thatís basically just drums.

I came here to say this exact thing, and frankly it has really diluted the shows. Contestants like the cover up player today won't guess it's a 40k car and have a wipeout. I feel the rest of the week will only get worse.

The show needs to make up its mind, you offer 100k in pay the rent because you want a flashy prize so you do a whole week of flashy prizes yet only 40k-60k cars, the way prices of cars are today that is not terribly flashy anymore and it comes across as a cheap week to me at least

Whatever your opinion on this new direction, the only blame on that Cover wipeout is on the contestant not pricing a freakin' Lincoln in the right ballpark.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

I think there were two wipeouts on Cover Up in Bob's era, but I honestly don't remember.

Sure I can agree with you on that, but again, nothing about it screams dream car. No fancy staging. No turning machine like GR, no extra hype from George. They have made every car come across as a regular everyday car and I think that is tripping contestants up

Recap posted.

If anyone ever wants to question why I absolutely despise the show not revealing Key or Rat ARPs, let this be a lesson. Because I don't know the full package on Key, I don't 100% know if Breanna or Katesha are the TW of the show. my gut says given it's a loaded Giulia that she will get it.

This is far from the first time they've treated them normally in Pricing Games, a lot of 3X playings come to mind. It is definitely curious.

At the same time in this case... it's DREAM CAR week, lol.

Congrats to Katesha for winning the trip to NYC and Coney Island! (after failing miserably at Time is Money)   I'd advise that She wait, though, because Coney Island's park is closing for the winter and won't be open again till next spring.

Great win from Master Key as well.
