With $26,_ _ _  and $98_ showing, a regular Price watcher probably would have won the SUV in Any Number since its price ended in 2, 1, 0. Since the piggy bank total was shown as $7.3_ and some of us have realized that those digits are usually (if not always) NOT in descending order, the last one there would likely be greater than 3. So, with that holding, and unless the price of the laptop ended in 2, 1, or 0, an auto win was guaranteed. 2, 1, and 0 would be my next three choices.

Virginia brought back memories of me and others lining up before dawn outside of the CBS Television City gate to be in the Price audience. “Twenty years!” Are those days gone forever?

How about that bid of $400 on three pairs of women's designer shoes? 😊

That was one expensive Skee-Ball machine in Race Game! I wouldn’t have won it.

Fantastic car win in Grocery Game! Smart shopping!

As talked about extensively on Discord, this is the second time Seat has been played with Race, despite in theory both games being timed ones:

Code: [Select]
2 lineups found in DAYTIME for all of
* Race Game played in any slot
* Hot Seat played in any slot

 PROD    S      AIRDATE          PG1           PG2       PG3            PG4        PG5                 PG6
9622K   50  Dec 07 2021  Lucky $even  Bargain Game  Hot Seat  Pick-a-Number  Race Game  Grocery Game (car)
9955K   51  Oct 28 2022   Any Number  Bargain Game  Hot Seat  Double Prices  Race Game  Grocery Game (car)

I wonder if they are starting to see Seat as not much of a timed game at all. The 35 seconds is definitely the most forgotten part of the game the vast majority of the time.

(Also, eew, basically repeating the same lineup so soon. Hooray I guess for three 4-prizers this week, though!)
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Fantastic car win in Grocery Game! Smart shopping!

It was a close call, but definitely a nice win.  And for a car!

Virginia brought back memories of me and others lining up before dawn outside of the CBS Television City gate to be in the Price audience. “Twenty years!” Are those days gone forever?

Virginia also brought back the memories of what it's like to "act like you've been there before" upon her win.  I'm sorry; totally joking.  I know the excitement and celebrating around the prize are here to stay (and while casual fans on the outside may have criticized it, I have no issue with it).  Anyway she was rather emotional.  It was pretty unique, I think, to see someone happy with a win.  I guess it just added to the joy & experience of making it on stage after so long.  Because of that, I wanted her to win out (get to & win the showcase).  It didn't happen, but she won her game after wasting no time in contestants row.

IMO, Hot Seat has the worst pricing game reveal in the history of the show.  It's not even close.  It's still a very good game.  $5,000 won today is nice; BTW, it has been a minute (nearly 5 years) since a Hot Seat "wipeout" I think.  Either way, I don't think it's so much of Drew forgetting about the stats; it's just him making the players feel comfortable.  He's not one to know or care about it, as what matters is the current playing.  One of several things I admire about Carey

I did have $4499 as a price for the Skee-Ball machine in Race Game. Too bad I didn't have $3618 for the camera package (that was my other guess for the Skee-Ball).

Every time I see a Mazda in the Showcase, it's going to be low when I think high, and high when I think low.
