A couple things:

1. Best pre-call I've ever made on Stack
2. We have a massive lake effect system slamming us starting Friday to Monday. I am working tomorrow and Thursday so those will be normal, but the Friday one will be done live.

That $104 overbid in the showcase. Ouchie.

Also, it feels like it’s been quite a while since someone actually stopped in Gas Money. Can Tino tell us when that last happened? I wanna say it was during a Dream Car Week with inflated cash amounts in the game.

Poor Jerry O’Connell. He was promoting a show that CBS relegated to Paramount+ weeks ago. Networks very rarely pull shows off their schedules anymore so that tells you how big a stinker The Real Love Boat is.

Gibran really was an excellent contestant. I wish it would have gone his way in the showcase.

I hardly think many people would've considered a bid of $39,700 or $39,800 for the double, but this one really did hurt.  $40,000 was reasonable, but $35,000 would've been safe as well.  Maybe if he had been able to bid 2nd he could've taken that risk with the knowledge that Daniel went rather low on the second showcase.

Still some consolation with a Stack victory so Gibran doesn't exit empty handed (not counting the IUFB prize of course).

As for "The Real Love Boat"?  Meh.  I didn't care too much about the show to begin with.  I do admire boat showcases more than most (not over a nice SUV or the like).  I don't know for sure, but shows do get pulled more than you think.  Or they used to.  I'm guessing these days they would just move it to another unpopular slot on the schedule, and I think that's what may have happened to TRLB without the existence of Paramount Plus

It was answered in chat during the show , Apr 6 of last season.

For the past few years, it happens to about one show a year. This season was The Real Love Boat, last season was Promised Land on ABC (5 shows aired and the remaining 5 went to Hulu), the season before that it was Connecting on NBC (4 aired on NBC and the remaining four went to Peacock) and the season before that it was Sunnyside also on NBC (4 aired on NBC and 7 on NBC.com).

Pretty easy product price setup, I’d say, but… fantastic win in Stack The Deck! One of my favorite games. I hope to see it during Dream Car week someday, played for a dream car. :-D
