Very decent show.  I spent all of 90 seconds getting "mad" over a $30,000 amount for 1/2 off.  When the one-bid that preceded the game is for a Toyota, it's not a big deal.  Rather decent seeing Stephen collect everything anyway before falling short in the SCSD against eventual showcase winner Louis (record outcome in Time I think)

Louis’s win of $34,492 is the equivalent of about $6,900 on a standard Time Is Money playing.

Also, the graphics department put in work today, including the rather wacky-looking “$34,492” lower-third graphic we got in the aforementioned Time Is Money. It’s just me paying attention to minutiae like that.

I felt like Grand Game should’ve been played for $20,000, and the Punch-a-Bunch distribution should’ve resembled the daytime version except the $100 cards are dropped.

Yes, because it’s fun and unexpected. It makes good television.

Last time was the April fool's episode iirc, when they gave the car away in the one bid then the prize for the game was like tires or something

Good show, playing games for all cash made things feel a little monotonous though. The car as an IUFB was a fun surprise.

I thought the Time is Money setup was very easy, the only thing I wondered about was whether the egg rolls should be $3-$5.99 or $6+.

Was this the first time a car has been in the OB?
It's been done a few other times, most recently in last season's April Fool's Day show. It's also been done at least once during Dream Car Week.

Great show last night. I didn't mind giving a car away on a OB it's a special show. Special shows you do different things makes it more fun.

April Fool's was a stroke of genius. During DCW it's pretty excessive but not so bad.

Here it felt like they realized they weren't going to have a car until the SCs (just like every other all cash show or kids show, which has been done a few times now!) and suddenly changed their minds. Needless.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Why play Grand Game for $25,000 and 1/2 Off for $30,000?

$30,000 has four zeros. $25,000 has long been the standard primetime prize for 1/2 Off. I... I just... [sigh]
