Show 2432 D. June 21, 1977
« on: February 03, 2023, 10:45:25 PM »
Greetings!  I am new to this group.  I am looking for a certain Price Is Right episode featuring my cousin, Stephanie Gaston.  She played the Lucky Seven game and won a Datsun 280 Z, spending one dollar total out of five.  Stephanie also won the final Showcase Showdown at the show's end, totalling over $15,000.  The episode was taped May 18, 1977, broadcast was shown June 21, 1977.  The episode number is 2432 D.

I was wondering if anyone in this group has a complete recorded version of that episode?  I saw it 45 1/2 years ago, but haven't seen it since and nor has Stephanie.

Your help in locating this arcane piece of television history will be greatly appreciated.

I'm moving this to The Talk Is Right -- the subforum it was originally posted in is only meant for recaps, and the request is much more likely to be seen here.

And that's a good thing, because this episode definitely aired on GSN back in the day.  In fact, I've found a YouTube video of your cousin playing Lucky Seven.  It's from a WinTV airing, so the picture is scaled back, but it's a start, and I'd be shocked if somebody doesn't have the entire show.

Let's find the rest of this thing, guys!

Mr. Gavazzi, YES!!  This IS the clip pertaining to my cousin’s appearance in the show.
I recently joined this group and did not know where to store my original post for the general members of TPIR to reply.

I have forwarded a link of the lucky seven gameplay to Stephanie.  She was very excited and showed it to her 93 year old mother, who’s still with us.  Stephanie’s daughter was able to see the clip, too.  She was two years old at the time.

If a member of this internet group has a copy of the entire episode, it would be SUCH a thrill for me & Stephanie!  She won the FINAL showcase that day, too.

Thank you for what you have shared thus far.  Here’s hoping for more assistance moving forward.
