After about 3 & and half decades, I (still) can never figure out when it's smart to (or not to) bail.  Today's $3,000 outcome was the correct one; I'm aware that the car value factors in.  So does one's interest.  Which is why I've mentioned in the past that a $5,000 bailout option isn't the worst thing in the world.

Too bad about Card Game & Side by Side.  It's been over 4 years since the former got going with an Ace.

Decent results for Most Expensive, Safe Crackers and Bullseye.  Short & sweet for (not necessarily) the easiest pricing game on the show.

A Vegas / SUV showcase is "never not" cool.  It wasn't won though.

Thankfully it's Friday; I thought I heard Drew saying, "You won them both," to the Spelling Bee contestant that won her boat showcase (he actually said, "You won the boat!").  I've been hearing things all week I guess, but no $4,000 DSW range right now LOL!

Even -500 would have been fine today... why -800! :headbang: Additionally annoying since the car's been 26845 multiple times.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

If you want to look at the odds mathematically, she had about a 37% chance at getting the car with her 3 cards.  This gives her around $7841 equity in the car, which is basically 2.5 times more than $3000.  Despite her making the right choice in this case, the best thing mathematically would be to take the risk.

Also, if every game of spelling bee has three small prizes with the 20-30-40 in random order, wouldn’t be better if you just say $30 every time to get 4 cards guaranteed.

Anyways, this week was much better than last week due to the wipeout last week.  Wouldn’t it just make sense for the people playing card game to keep drawing cards until they get the ace, and then give a price close to the actual one.

I think this is the first time since January 2012 that we had the same two colors strike out in Contestant's Row on consecutive shows? It was also the blue and green spots the other time I'm aware of.
