Models don't touch the prizes
« on: March 03, 2023, 08:36:21 AM »
If you watch the show on any given day, you'll notice that most of the prizes (IUFBs, small prizes, big prizes) go virtually untouched by the models.

The models do plenty of pointing-to and standing-next-to the prizes ... but it's nothing like when Janice/Dian/Holly used to gently caress them.  (Yesterday in Danger Price, Rachel didn't even open the refrigerator.)

Even cars don't get the touching they used to.

It isn't because of COVID concerns (Is it?) -- so why are the models so skittish to touch the prizes?

The only thing I can think of is to avoid damaging either the prize or avoiding bodily harm to the model (let's face it we all flash back to George's mishap on the treadmill).  With lawsuits at the drop of a hat anymore, I imagine the show wants to avoid them as much as possible.  No other reason I can think of...
