My goodness.   That Bonus Land puzzle of PEOPLE was just IMPOSSIBLE.   I had a feeling Bellamie and staff forced a loss on this one.   And landing on the big one stung really bad.

We still can't get a $100,000 win with the category Person, and it's at 0-15 now.

Compare that to Thing which is at 19-32, Phrase at 19-31, and What Are You Doing? at 5-6 (though these also include $1,000,000 hits).

That is a SHOCKING statistic.   Jeez!

mechamind, I have failed to count losses for THING/PHRASE/WHAT ARE YOU DOING (I often call this the Raw Deal list).   I know THING has 5 Bonus Land losses so far.   What about the other two?

I was counting total $100,000/$1M hits since the grand prize debut in October 2001.

Counting just wins-losses for the season (and any envelope hit), Thing is 0-5, Phrase is 4-9, and What Are You Doing? is 4-6. As for Person, it's 1-2.

Man, my birthday hasn't been a lucky one for Wheel. Two $100K losses in a row by birthday, and 2017 had a million-dollar loss with BAKED ZUCCHINI. Enough of that!

Ugh.   I felt they should have gotten that puzzle.   We have had bad luck with the bigger amounts missed.

Suddenly, we have our first $100,000 win of the season! Tough puzzle too, as A JUICY BURGER has the unnecessary A and a tough word, but they talked it out with the helpful C call!

Also... "Confetti.exe has stopped working." The confetti somehow didn't fire this time.

So the last season of Celebrity Wheel didn't get too many wins, and now we've apparently matched its total number of wins in just half a season. Fingers crossed that it will have even more wins to come.

Tonight's Bonus Land PHRASE puzzle was a real head scratcher.   With only a T revealed.   I had NOTHING for that one and unusual letters needed to solve this landmine.

Why pick a category in the bonus round that has already been played? WHY?

There was a nice moment today. The family of the big winner got to have a photo with Pat before the Bonus Round!

Tonight's WHAT ARE YOU DOING...was a head scratcher.   Jill picked a bad category choice for Christmas night.

I didn't blame her for criticizing the puzzle in the end...it was so hard.   

Apparently the puzzle writers decided to go hard mode WHAT ARE YOU DOING lately...the last two Bonus puzzles in this category have been very hard.

So … how long has $75,000 been an envelope on the syndicated Wheel?

$75,000 was introduced as a permanent bonus prize this season.

There was a $75,000 envelope during a Big Money Week in March 2012 (along with $65,000 and $85,000), but nothing else.

I personally would not have solved tonight's puzzle, it was hard.
