Caesars Sportsbook has Atlanta a 3-1 favorite to win it all. Not putting any stock into that, as the Phillies can very well sweep the Braves. Their postseason win record on the road tells that. Ranger Suarez starts for the Phillies; Spencer Strider for the Braves.

Phillies now have the upper hand after shutting out Atlanta 3-0. Bryce Harper goes yard. Game 2
is Monday and pits Zach Wheeler against Max Fried.

Same old Kershaw in the postseason. ERA of 162.00 after giving up six runs and recording one out.

And the Diamondbacks don't look back, routing the Dodgers 11-2.

The Rangers are 1 win away from punching their ticket to the ALCS with a 11-8 victory over Baltimore.  Game 3 will be Tuesday night in Texas

Meanwhile the Twins split their series with the Astros at one game apiece.

Braves claw right back, and a Harper base-running blunder will even the series.

It still won't be easy for Atlanta as they have to face Aaron Nola Wednesday night in a hostile Philadelphia environment. Braves send out Bryce Elder.

Meanwhile Arizona continues to flip the script as they beat the Dodgers 4-2 and go up two games to zero headed for Phoenix.

That was a backbreaking loss for the Phils.
It was first ever 8-5-3 double play to end a game and the first double play in postseason in which an outfielder was involved to end the game.

Houston defeats Minnesota 9-1 to take a 2-1 series advantage.  An all-Texas ALCS could be in the cards if the Rangers sweep the Orioles tonight and the Astros defeat the Twins tomorrow

The problem for the Phillies is Nola is either really good or a train wreck. He’s due to go completely off the rails. And if he does, it’s absolutely over.
