Lauren probably earned Drew's respect in how to play Cover , even thought she didn't win.
She knew about getting the 1st number wrong on purpose for an extra turn , unfortunate she kinda forgot one of the hidden rules of the game ( last number is never at the top ) , then she let the '0' car ending get the best of her.

In every playing of Cover at night , excluding two playings , the car price ended in either 0 or 5 ( the other two times it ended in a 1 and a 9 )

That Cover hurt my soul a bit. Can't blame Laura for being a good LFAT. I guess the difference between a LFAT and a superfan is recognizing when the setup would likely be easier, such as on a primetime show.

I didn't like the cheap 3rd prize in Rat, or the 9000 one-bid.

Wanda should have spoken up faster in Cliff, maybe there was editing in there though.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

What happened to the yellow rat in rat race? We've seen rats not finish before but I don't think I've ever seen one go off track like that.

The Cover Up loss HURT for reasons already explained. Attempting the "get one of the first two wrong on purpose on the first turn" strategy is so rare that it should be rewarded. So serious hats off to Lauren for knowing to do that and actually doing it even if the game was lost.

On the other hand, Cliffhangers...that third guess was just awful as they had $21 left to work with and guessed $18. Did they think the pillow would cost $-3? But even so, they were still just $1 away from winning.

I was expecting all trips for the prizes after the first game and the theme, but thankfully there was much more variety tonight than on the Survivor episode last week. Of course, there were quite a number of trips offered though.

Bad guesses on the last item in Rat Race and Cliff Hangers doomed the contestants in both games, though I wasn't expecting the GPS to be nearly that cheap though.

Great job in Cover Up with the strategy on the first number, unfortunately she thought wrong with the last number.

Both Showcase bids were really good, with one being just over.

Man, that’s got to be the most avoidable Cliffhangers loss I’ve ever seen.

Laura had great logic on Cover Up, but she missed one crucial fact: the more expensive the car, the more likely it is to actually end in zero.

The new studio lights do not do Rat Race any good at ALL. The pink and orange rats look almost identical on the screen, and the lanes barely lit up.

I never thought I would see the day that we would have a WSD on a primetime episode.

The most amazing part to me was during the first showdown, all 3 spinning teams landed on the same number twice, I wonder if that has ever happened before

BRRRR! I never thought we'd see the day that we would have someone win a trip to Antarctica, one of the coldest places on Earth as far as temperatures go.

one of the coldest places on Earth as far as temperatures go.

As opposed to some other metric?
