One person leaves the show (Gina) and no one on the staff notices that Hole's copy is wrong as far as getting the ARP of the car? That's really all it takes?
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

And whoever is writing these copies for the cars loves to start the copy with the car name , then the car's paint job color.

What specifically is wrong? Admittedly, I don’t listen carefully to the prize descriptions.

This show had budget written all over it. Safecrackers was just evil, and Half Off wasn’t any better with that ridiculously priced hair remover.

What specifically is wrong? Admittedly, I don’t listen carefully to the prize descriptions.
In games such as Hole where the price of the prize has no direct impact on gameplay, the ARP of the prize or prize package is announced. In today's copy, the ARP of the car was not given. This also happened with Bonus at least once earlier this season.

I'm not sure what prompted another Half playing so soon, but clearly it wasn't set up for a win considering that $380 hair remover...thankfully that projector wasn't $620.

Live for the present.  Embrace the future.  Our favorite game show is still producing excellent, high quality, exciting, hour-long* shows every weekday throughout its traditional season window.  It’s as good as it’s been in a long, long time.  If the 1980s were the ‘good ole days’ for the Barker era, so is RIGHT NOW for the Carey era.  Don’t worry about what the future holds.  It will play out in due time.  Enjoy what we have right in front of us in the meantime!

What a feat of skill it was for George and Devin to be on those go karts while George somehow managed to live read his copy.

There may have only been two wins today, but it's always good when at least one of them is a car, especially since not everybody wins Money Game. That Half Off was indeed a mean setup, especially with a $380 hair dryer.

Well, I may be in the minority here BUT "Budget Mode" is necessary sometimes.

Things seemed to even out because the contestants that most people would root for seemed to come through and have fun.

Safecrackers:  Its gotta be that way sometimes.  I don't feel overly sad about it

Money Game:  Not meant to be won

Half-Off:  Was set up to get 2 of the 3 sets of small prizes correct.

Pick A Rib as my granddaughter calls it:  The El-Cheapo Kitchen Set from my show (10-24-2023) shows its ugly head again.

Hole in One:  Hot mess central

1 Wrong Price:  Take that you budget mode beast you!! ROFL.  Nobody was supposed to win with that set up.

Showcases:  Double vehicle day!

Off Topic:  How do I get my gold star?  As I was on the show on 10-24-2023.

That was a close difference in the showcase. What if there was a tie AND under $250 ? Odds are low but it sure would be great to see happen!

Everybody's talking about the budget, but what has me fascinated are the logistics of the first IUFB. George said hi to Momma Mai from his podium, immediately booked it backstage, rounded the three doors, got dressed up in a helmet and headset, and reappeared from the other side of the stage spinning around on a motor kart five seconds later!

"There's Devin Goda right there, there's George Gray, and there's our insurance people right back there..."
Quote from: Bill Todman
"The sign of a good game, is when you don't have to explain it every day. The key is not simplicity, but apparent simplicity. Password looks like any idiot could have made it up, but we have 14 of our people working on that show. There is a great complexity behind the screen. It requires great work to keep it simple."

I briefly flipped to CBS during Safe Crackers. I know for a fact that all three dials are printed in tandem. So how did they end up with two different versions of a 7?

I had to check what you were talking about, but luckily the TPIR Wiki Gallery has lots of screenshots. Here's one from this playing, where you can see the left '7' dial has a slanted beam, while the other dials' '7's have a vertical beam.

Even more oddly, the previous play in the Gallery had a $750 price and the dials had consistent 7s:
