Howdy Mama Bev!!

Spelling Bee: Sweet win for a sweet gal!  I met her at a show in August.

Side By Side:  Never in doubt

Time is Money:  Ugh

Switch?:  I call “foul” on the almost $7300 pool table?  Is the cue ball pure gold?  Somebody please give me the # to the “Bunko Squad”.

10 Chances:  Ten things to say but none of them are nice.  Moving on.

Range Game for an office retreat:  See what happens when you trust yourself.

Showcases:  Both were great!

Light, Love and Life to Y’all!

It's always annoying to see people looking at the audience in timed games, especially Time is Money, where that's costly of thousands of dollars at one time.

I agree that Switch needs to be reconsidered because there could be no frickin' way that that was an over $7,000 pool table!

And 10 chances? I too would not say otherwise.

Nope - look up the site for the Triangle brand, order their tables by price high to low, and you'll be down to about the 110th (of 240 models) before you get to a price in the $7,300 range (meaning the first 100+ are MORE than that - I think the highest price I saw was over $30,000 (with many that just say call for price, but you can kind of guess when they are located between a $25,000 and a $22,000 that their price is somewhere between those)!

Also noted in one thing when I searched that slate tables (which this was) are what professionals generally prefer, so it being expensive is not a surprise with that either :)

I thought that Time is Money had a relatively easy set up. The contestant just wasted too much time looking at the audience for help.

One thing Drew has been consistent on throughout his tenure is not hiding his disdain when contestants don't take his advice to not look at the audience in timed gamed.

Everyone's complaining about Switch being a hard setup again but once again, I yelled SWITCH! at my TV before I saw the second prize. It's Switch in primetime. Switch them. They want the models to do the little dance. Switch them. Not that hard.
YES! You have them all right! You win $2,500! You will putt from the closest line!

Jhc2010 putts from the closest line and WINS!!!

Congratulations! Those 2 cars are yours! Now we go to the Showcase Showdown! You will spin first. Pick a number between 1 and 20.

I usually like the two chunky car game lineups, but I don't think it's a great fit in primetime, especially with the longer casher. And then of course Time & 10C were played awfully... but it's good for the primetime audience to see Bee & 10C, nonetheless.

I feel like this is a borderline hidden rule. The bar set was more likely to be a sexed up 7k than the pool table from the average contestant's standpoint - that's where the setup went wrong if they wanted it won.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

No one in their right mind would have considered that pool table to be that expensive based on the read copy. It was made with MDF for crying out loud. No mention of a slate surface. That was intentionally set up to be lost.

No mention of a slate surface.

Then just how did that piece of information get into the recap, if it wasn't stated on the show?  That's what I was going by, what was posted on here.
