I suspect that I know the answer to this question, but has any contestant ever drawn the $2.00 card and lost on Pocket Change? Also, has any contestant ever fallen so far behind with their selections that it became mathematically impossible to win even with a $2.00 card on their last selection?

It is only possible to lose with the $2.00 card in Pocket Change if the car price is $2.50 or $2.75. The car price has only ever gotten that high in two playings (November 18, 2015 and June 25, 2018), and in neither of those playings did the contestant draw the $2.00 card. As such, the answer to both of those questions is no.
Watching since the late 2000s, playing along since 2021.

Today was the 1st instance of the $2.00 card being pulled from #7 ( of times in which it's been picked ) in Pocket Change.

A strong start to Money Game quickly became an absolutely terrible playing of the game.

Pocket Change, however, made up for it. Still wish Drew would make it a bit more suspenseful. That game does stress me out. I agree the card distributions need work.

Great Check Game win.

Hi-Lo was a complete crapshoot. I had no idea what the third high item was, but I didn’t think it was the chips.

I was a bit worried about a double overbid today. So glad that didn’t transpire. I just had a feeling after the good show it would happen.

Hey,

What did Drew say about the contestant from Vermont who had a chance to win a trip to Vermont? How many times has this happened? LOL!
