Today's playing of Hot Seat really made me appreciate what a great game it is and why it’s one of my favorite post-Bob games.

It has everything. Excellent use of pricing knowledge, risk-based decision making, excellent suspense building, reward for being a good shopper. Drew hosted it so well today, really working on the suspense. I would have made all the same decisions Pamela made today except one: I wouldn't have bailed out. I had the price of the yogurt maker completely wrong in my head.

Check Out was also played *chef's kiss* today. Scarlé put on a masterclass for us at home. Too bad she had such a painful overbid at the showcase.

I know I've said it before, but the contestant selection has been so good this season. By the time he retired, Stan was picking the most insanely over the top and obnoxious people he could find. Now, contestants seem to be diverse in background and personality again, but are united in positivity. Just loving it.

This was my first of 6 tapings I attended Feburary 5th 6th 7th and 12th. I'm the guy in the the cheese is now shirt right next to contestants row.

I had DP and EZ123 won in my head. I would've failed A#, Hot Seat, Checkout, and Push Over. Never knew yogurt makers were that cheap!

When the first price unexpectedly popped up on Drew and the contestant he let out a dirty joke which was obviously edited out  :oldlol:

The pizza in Checkout was setup to be a trap as it sure as heck tricked me and a few others in the audience.

The audience was able to convince Jacqueline to swap the blocks on the piano and bikes. George Gray complimented us during the break.

During the commercial I was able to get a handshake with Drew and learned how he loves senior discounts.

Hats off to the staff that had to handle the flooding around the studio by shuttling the audience between the church and studio. Those folks are incredibly underappreciated

Thank you!

During the commercial I was able to get a handshake with Drew and learned how he loves senior discounts.
And that's why Drew only gets his weed on Tuesdays.

That was, without question, one of the most strategic playings of Check Out I've EVER seen and it was done nearly flawless! And at first, I thought that Pamela made a bad decision bailing out in Hot Seat. Thank goodness she proved otherwise because I too thought that the yogurt maker was more than $45! All-in-all, a more than adequate show either way you slice it  :-)
