There was just a weird energy at Haven for his one. The contestants were all over the map and Drew didn’t seem fully present at times. That and this show was full of blown gimmes.

Side was set up to be won and should not have been lost. Trips border or are past $10k now a days. But then again Double Cross comes along later on and forces a loss by violating this!

Didn’t see Golden Road coming. When was the last time GR wasn’t played first? Drew’s inability to find the Price tag for the beef stew was such a vintage Price moment and I’m glad these moments are being left in. That 1 stuck out like a sore thumb for the car and I knew that’s what it would be. Too bad.

Now and Then also seemed like a gimme and was rightfully won.

Also glad they left in George’s “Holly moment” in Most Expensive. Yet another gimme win there.

Five Price Tags was played so poorly it hurt. I thought most of the small prizes were set up for obvious picks (Drew basically said as much at the first prize) so I was surprised she only got one pick. The Versa and Mirage are the two übercheap car options the show rotates between so I knew immediately $22k was wrong.

Two weird edits today distracted me: abrupt applause cut off in Now and Then and a cut off contestant reaction in Five Price Tags during the second prize. Both edits seemed so poor they stood out.

I always get a kick out of Drew's music references -- and especially enjoyed his B-52's reference today when contestant Claire played ("Planet Claire"). I often wonder how many of these music references actually "land" with Price audiences/viewers -- and how many have no idea what the heck he's talking about!  :D

. . . . I often wonder how many of these music references actually "land" with Price audiences/viewers -- and how many have no idea what the heck he's talking about!  :D

Count this square among the perpetually confused. I had to look up his reference to "N-n-n-nineteen" in Money Game after he'd made it a few times.

Getting his allusions is often made more difficult when he sometimes gets them wrong. He'll sometimes reference the old sitcom "Car 54 Where Are You?" with numbers that are close to 54, but not. I wonder if that's on purpose.
