10 days (as George even announced when the doors were opened) vs. the usual 6 nights. Even though Ireland was the more expensive bargain, I feel this was supposed to be won.

They're lucky Range Game was won. I wouldn't have stopped that early on a normal prize.

I hereby declare this playing of Bargain Game to be Not Cool.

I know going all "back in my day" is a bad look, but, well, back in my day, when a pricing game was played for two trips, we always made sure the trips were of equal duration. And equal airfare class and if one of the trips required a rental car to get to the destination city, then the other trip got a rental car even if it was unnecessary. (In this instance, "back in my day" ends when it became standard practice to add a specific, localized vacation experience to every trip.)

Yes, I know that legally, today's playing was above board -- George clearly stated the duration of each trip during the plugs. But we all know that when you're a contestant, it's difficult to process the finer details of prize descriptions, and ultimately, the contestant is just looking at a sign that says "Ireland" and a sign that says "Morocco." Nobody's thinking, "Ah, but this is a 10-day train tour versus a 6-night hotel stay, so I must perform additional calculations accordingly."

Happy Memorial Day weekend to you too Adam, and to one and all!

Whew, Range Game was BARELY won!  If not for that, it would have been another wipeout show!

Not a huge fan of One Wrong Price, but it is a challenging game nevertheless for some nice prizes.  Just seems to go against the grain of the Price is RIGHT to me...but I do love that it is unique in that the games name does not appear anywhere graphically.

I so wanted the young lady to win Shell Game today.  She seemed like a real sweetheart.  Well she just turned 18 and can come back when she's 28, she'll still be plenty young!

My only gripe with Bargain Game is the numerals on the price tags.  They used to be easier to read.  They need to outline them or make the actual retail price numerals black because the white on yellow is none too easy for my 57 year old eyes to make out.

Until the final decision made for the second digit in the price of the car in Stack The Deck, that was probably the single best playing of that game that resulted in a loss that I can ever remember seeing!  Got all the grocery pricing done well, filled in the last, 4th and 3rd digits in the price of the car which I felt was the way to go, the first digit was of course 2, but the 2nd digit was definitely NOT an 8.  He went way too high with that choice and the audience let him know it.  I used to live in New Jersey so I was pulling for him...alas it was not meant to be.

I wish the game would implement a rule whereby if you get all the grocery pricing perfect, you get to have one of the wrong digits removed, making it a 50 50 chance to win...but that isn't about to happen.

Stack The Deck! One of my favorite games! Three free digits earned! The contestant did so well with his pricing, until... his choice for the second digit in the auto price.
