The first showcase features prizes revealed as Holly hires "the Priceless Shopping Service." A service so fast that, in the blink of an eye, it can provide a gift for anyone.

Prizes are: a Magnavox 20 inch color TV (a last minute gift for her boss), a Star Trek pinball machine (for a boyfriend), and a Fleetwood Prowler travel trailer (a special gift for a cousin who's a forest ranger).

Marta chooses to pass. Douglas bids $14,950

The second showcase is an ordinary, non-themed showcase featuring a dining room by American Of Martinsville, a set of Noritake china, and a set of sterling silver flatware (along with a wooden case) by Wallace Silversmiths. Additionally, a pair of Honda Elite 50 LX motorscooters are offered (for getting some fresh air after dinner).

The actual retail price of Marta's showcase is $14,196 (difference of $5196)

The actual retail price of Douglas's showcase is $15,961 (difference of $1011)

Douglas is the big winner of the day.
