Thanks for doing this one, Plinko.  I've been curious about this ep for quite some time.

The only lower price I've seen in Clock Game was some 1972 show with a $171 price.

Got some questions, Plinko.  

Are there a bunch of black lines drawn yet around the G-T asterisks on the yellow floor in front of contestants row?

Did Give or Keep have its normal size titles yet?

Did Any Number come around before the prizes were revealed? EDIT: of course not!

Did the turntable spin for no reason at the end of the show?

That's one of the "best-worst" prizes ever!

It's been a while since I posted, but I just thought of something fun to do: figure out the best possible winnings for this episode.

The most that the show could give away would add up to $12,401, assuming all games are won, and there is a tie in the showcase.
The most any one person could win is $7,104, assuming that the person won the highest valued prize of all the acts, and the showcase.

Any thoughts?

Hey, I know you haven't been around for awhile, so I'll just kindly remind you of the don't-bump-after-30-days rule.  I don't like it, but it's a rule.

Funny, I just had to make the same point in another thread. 

Anyway, I calculate the max amount they could give away on almost every old show I watch.  $12K was typical for later 1973.  But it varies.  The 4/3/73 show offered only about $9300, but a show from October offered over $15K.
