Interesting article.  He's very aware of the role that he is assuming, and knows that there are going to be inevitable Barker comparisons.  But he's taking Bob's advice well: he just wants to be himself.

He's also aware that he just can't bring his stand-up act to TV.  That I appreciated, since there were some earlier concerns on these boards.

Overall, I think Drew has an appreciation of his roles, and really seems to respect the legacy that both Bob Barker and the Price is Right have left on American pop culture.  He knows he can't just do a Barker imitation as host, and I respect that about him.

I like this guy more and more as Price successor the more I see of and read about him.
