I understand the value of wav files, (My Avatar is generated by one), but for music is unnoticeable to the average Joe.

Thanks for taking the time to convert to mp3.

Sure.  Really, it only took probably 20 minutes to do all files (and that includes the time I would get distracted checking e-mail!).

Not to be picky, but #24 is edited in the wrong way; that's not how it's played on the show.

I wish you could be more specific.

The "pattern" is:
0:00-0:10 cut from Walking
0:10-0:17 abbreviation of the above cut
0:18-end is a loop of the first 10 seconds again and again.

If you are referring to the 0:10-0:17 section, the show is, indeed, like this -- just listen closely.

Not quite.  The cue should loop back to the beginning at 0:28.

OK -- i'll get that updated.  I guess I've never heard it go on long enough to notice that.

Thanks.

BTW, you guys will know when it has been added when you come back and it says "UPDATED" or "CORRECTED" next to the cue link in post #16 on this thread at the top of page 2 - probably next week sometime.

I'm seeing more feedback and critisism than thanks yous in this thread, so let me be one of the few to Thank You PIR85 for taking the time and sharing these cues. Great job!

With all due respect, many of us already have these cues.  Based on the one I downloaded to check the editing, it seems that PIR85 has done a decent job...but I'm not going to "thank" him for posting songs that have been on my computer since (and were edited by someone else in) 1999 or 2000.

I wasn't pointing any fingers at anyone in particular, but thanks for stepping forward. If you gott'em already then what's the problem with just saying thanks or not saying anything at all. I have these cues and more as well, but not necessarily in the as hear on air format and wether he cut them or not, I appreciate the effort.

Why so negative ? Be happy it's better for your heart!

It's only negative if you view it as such. I look at it as Steve just helping a member correct an error. What's wrong with that?

I do appreciate the times when someone tells me where I can correct my edits, not just points out faults - it helps me improve my "library" of songs and pass it along to others.  And, as I said in my original post, I don't claim to have them 100% perfect.

I didn't know that.  All I've ever been able to download are the original, full-length files.  And, based on the response I've gotten from this post (I've had well over 400 downloads), I would say many people don't have these edits already.

And, I would like to hear some others post their edits.  No way do I have all the cues available and I would like to add to my collection.

And there's absolutely nothing wrong with posting the songs for those who don't.  I hope I didn't make it sound like there was.
