Rich mentioned on today's show (5/8) that the 4th on-stage contestant was found ineligible and won't receive any prizes. So how often does this happen? Seems like a rarity, or just maybe the fact it was mentioned on the end of the show(clearly a post production edit from the sounds of Rich).

You know, br, anyone who read that subject line is going to know exactly what happened.  Saying what happened, then saying there's a spoiler, kinda' spoils things for people on the West Coast.  And people who already saw today's show are probably going to know exactly what spoiler would be, anyway.  As such, the topic title change.

Yes, she was a contestant previously on the show and was found to be ineligible.

It was not Megan that was ineligable but Michelle. She has been on the show before. (Who knew this was going to happen... )  But anyway has this happen before and if so when?  Please help me out.

Rich said it was the 4th on-stage contestant that was ineligible, and Megan was the 4th on-stage contestant, not Michelle.

Scott informed us in the recap thread that Rich was incorrect saying that.  It was really the 4th contestant called down who was ineligible, not the 4th to be on stage.  And Kourtney, it has happened before, on January 25, 1999.

Could "on stage" mean "not in the audience"? That's the only thing that makes sense to me with the Michelle/Megan debate. Maybe they consider Contestants' Row to be on stage, since it's kind of affixed to the stage. Just a thought I had.

No, I read the post right above mine just fine, in fact I read all eight of them, and I realized that what I wrote was stupid right after I hit the send button, unfortunately you can't delete something after you posted it.
