But you're forgetting that in the earlier years, there were fewer games.  So, Grocery Game probably saw more frequent play then than in modern times.  Still, my point from before stands.

Plinko isn't anywhere near 1,000 playings just yet.  In fact, it's at about 800 right now.  Grocery Game is just shy of 900.

Only eight games have been played more than 1,000 times:  Any Number, Double Prices, Clock Game, Most Expensive, Money Game, Range Game, Lucky $even, and Squeeze Play.  1 Right Price will probably join that group by the end of this year -- it's not quite there yet, but it's over 980.

Firstly, for the record, after Bob Barker retired a grand total of 7,316 episodes had been done since 1972:
-6,732 Daytime shows
-302 Dennis James/Bob Barker Nighttime shows {including the Pitchfilm and #(003N)}
-170 Tom Kennedy shows
-81 Doug Davidson shows (including the Mark Kriski Pilot)
and 31 Primetime Specials:
-six 1986 Specials
-Six Military Salutes
-Three Anniversary Specials (25th/30th/35th)
-16 Million-Dollar Spectaculars

This total doesn't count the Bill Cullen version, the host tryouts, and the Live shows.

Number two, Double Prices has been played more times than any other game. I would guess the number is somewhere around 1,400.

Okay, there's my bit.

I'm rather surprised that Squeeze Play is in the list of over 1000 plays. Considering its not one of the original 6, and the fact it was introduced in the 80's, I would have thought 1 Right Price would have it beat by a mile.

According to the FAQ, Squeeze Play debuted on Sept. 13, 1977.

Double Prices is over 1,300 playings if you include runs besides the daytime show, but it won't hit 1,400 for another couple seasons.

Squeeze Play used to get the same kind of treatment that we're now used to seeing Double Prices get.  I'm not the least bit surprised that it's over 1,000.
