I noticed an edit during 3 Strikes, which is one of the first edits I've seen in some time.  Interestingly enough, the games today timed out to only 26.5 minutes which means Strikes must have REALLY gone long.

Interesting you pointed that out, ClockGameJohn.  As I watched today I thought that a game like 3 Strikes can potentially go on a really long time.  How often are edits used in game play?

BBB: I would have sided with the BBQ.

3 strikes: Arguably the Highlight of this Dreary Monday in my area.

MYM Fairly simple, the game was $23.

Dice Game: Dang it, that was evil.  Doesn't help when you roll a 3 and say higher, only to get shot down.

Secret X:  WHAT?! In the bottom row?!

SC1:  We're not in 1987, Marlene.

SC2: I'm surprised John made a great bid on it, for I thought he would be over by $10,000.

10 in a row strike free is pretty epic, especially considering the start.

This was the first time I've actually seen the CoD book on the show.  They could've made the choices moderately challenging there.

I'm a little surprised no one got the iPhones on the nose or guessed the original price of the pair.  I figured out 798 almost instantly.  (I can do maths, me).

The first prize of the first showcase seemed really weird.  A wine cabinet that looks like an armoire made by Howard Miller Clock Company?  Made my head hurt.   :P

BBB - "The crowd doesn't like it... you're too late! Shut up!"
3 Strikes - Another good line from Drew here... "We'll take that out, so it'll be easier to not get one of those numbers... thoughtful, aren't we?"
Coming or Going - A tip for my American friends who thought it was $3254: Whistler is reallllly expensive.
Make Your Move - Pretty easy setup today.
Dice Game - That was a tough one. Pretty much the only way she could lose was the way that she did.
Secret X - Another painful loss.
Showcases - Not a good day for me here - I GARFed both of them.

Funny thing about the iPhones--isn't "iPhone" a registered trademark of Apple computers?  It just seems weird to me that there's an endorsement for Apple right there, even though Rich used one of his generic plugs.

Yes, but considering the game was still lost, what's the point?

Not to mention the fact that with every Apple product offered on the show, Drew points out that there is an Apple store next door to the studio...

Am I the only one who noticed the 3 Strikes bag was backwards today, as in the bag itself wasn't facing the audience?

Barker's Bargain Bar: I would've picked the arcade game as well.

3 Strikes: Awesome playing. Talk about breaking the budget here seeing the corvette being won today.

Coming Or Going: I said going also considering I'm Canadian. Of course the prices of trips here have been going pretty high lately.

SCSD #1: I wanted one of the Southern Belles to win.

Make Your Move: When Nikki put the game at $23 and the dining group at $814 leaving the price of the sauna of $3050 I knew she would win.

Dice Game: When Marlene rolled a 3 and it was wrong then said it was higher I got worried. Sadly, I was right. Tough loss.

Secret X: Michael did everything right and yet he still ended up losing!  Oh why?

SCSD #2: I wanted Michael or Nikki to win.

Showcases: I thought John would over with a bid of $35,000. Turns out he made a very good bid to eventually clean house today. Marlene on the other hand totally garfed on her bid, big time!

To make a painful-type loss not inevitable?

Anyway, shows how much I've been following the price of the iPhones.  They went down more than I thought they did:  I guessed $998 on them.  I was actually a little surprised that no one got a perfect bid on them, though, and that no one even made any bid ending in 98.  I mean, I don't expect everyone to have every price memorized, but considering how much the prices for iPhones had been in the news....

I am totally surprised no one has yet to mention this.

I have not seen all episodes of price, but I don't ever remember the audience doing the WAVE beening show on the air (Contestants not appearing on stage)

Good show and a good laugh when Drew told the audience to shut up (but of course the audience was right)

PG #1-Who's the guy that hosted the show first?  It's not Bill...it's not Benny...oh yeah, Barker!  That was hilarious when Drew told the audience to shut up.  If only she would've listened to the audience, she would've won.

PG #2-Wow, I wasn't expecting 3 Strikes to be back already!  And for a Corvette, too!  No whammy! :-D  Yay, it's won, too!  LOL at John's post-game interaction.  Definitely the best playing/hosting combination of any games this season.

PG #4-Yay, Make Your Move!  A nice win to start the 2nd half.

PG #5-That 3rd number has done in quite a few contestants, and Marlene was one of them.  Tough with it being a 1 as well.

Closed Caption Plug #2-Haha, that was totally awesome that they did the wave.  I had to rewind my tape to watch it again.

Showcases-Wow, John cleans up nicely today with nearly $90,000 in loot.

BBB: Tough Setup. Drew telling the audience to "Shut Up" was hilarious. :D

3 Strikes: No Whammies...Wait, that's another show.  :-D Best playings to date. Great win.

CoG: Very nice.

MYM: Predicted a win when Nikki made that setup. Good job.

Dice:  :clipboard: That really hurt.

Secret: Michael had luck on the SP part and still loses....So sad.  :-(

Showcases: Marlene's bid..... :gotc: This is 2007, Marley!! John's bid on the  :frbs: was simply amazing and if he only bid a thousand dollars more, We would've seen the 2nd  :dsw: to crack six figures!!! Still, John had a magnificent day.

A 4.50-star show.
