Where's the enthusiasm? Watching that first minute or so felt like I was watching ice melt.
I'm also used to all the enthusiasm when a game, such as Plinko! is revealed. They show the game and there's literally no reaction by the audience. Plus, using the US TPiR intro for EVERYTHING makes it tiring and feels overly repetitive. That music played during their 'Plinko!' just doesn't fit at all, that's music for sitting around at a pool or a banquet hall.
With the Showcase Showdown wheel, with a strong spin, I'm sure it would go on for a minute. Plus, there's no reaction by the peanut gallery (apart from the near 'Scotch Brite win) or talking other than when the host announces the price and how the person did. It's amazing the audience clapped when the second SCS contestant lost.
Finally, some audience reaction during the Showcase Showdown.
I personally have to say that I find it to be boring and the set/games look too cheap. There's also too many advertisements around the set and games.
