I would like to know from members all across the globe the funniest and most ridiculous answers you've ever heard given on a TV quiz/game show.

From Press Your Luck
Peter Tomarken: If I can make it there, I can make it anywhere. Which state has this slogan?
(Contestant buzzes in)
Contestant: Phoenix.

First one that comes to mind:

Family Feud (Dawson era):
Fast Money Round Question:  What month of pregnancy does a woman begin to "show"?
Answer given:  September.

The funniest game show episode I've ever seen was on our Family Fortunes (Max Bygraves) in 1983 where a contestant answered 'turkey' to every question in Big Money.  I'll post a recap of this episode in full soon.

From Jeopardy! (Jennings era, don't know the answer):
Alex: Ken?
Ken Jennings: What's a hoe?
Alex: No.
(*slight pause, audience laughter ensues*)
Alex: Whoa, whoa, Ken, they teach you that in Utah?

Another bad answer from Karn's version of the Feud is this:

"Name something you feel before you buy it."

Contestant said: "Excited."
"Cherish the past, accept the present, and anticipate the future.  They are listening to feedback wherever feasible, but they can't repeat the past."

Hollywood Squares (Bergeron, Season 2)
(A five-square win is in progress, but Gilbert is making things difficult!)
Contestant: I agree/disagree (it's wrong...)
Gilbert Gottfried: YOU FOOL!
(*audience loud laughter and applause*)

Trebek: This term for a long-handled gardening tool can also mean an immoral pleasure seeker. Ken?
Ken Jennings: What's a ho?
Trebek: No... Whoa! Whoa! Whoa.... They teach you that in school in Utah, huh?!

Funniest. Answer. EVER. (Or in this case, question)

Press Your Luck, big board round.
Contestant: Whammies, stay away, you creeps and STOP!
Peter Tomarken: "Stop at a Whammy!"
(after losing all the money) Peter Tomarken: Uhhh, Allen, don't call the Whammies "creeps" because I don't think they like it.

Here's one from the Combs era of Family Feud:

"Name a birthday that men dread the most."

Contestant said: "Their wife's."
"Cherish the past, accept the present, and anticipate the future.  They are listening to feedback wherever feasible, but they can't repeat the past."

Press Your Luck - February 26, 1985: Last spin
Jim Hess (shouting): NO WHAMMIES--STOP!
Peter Tomarken: Stop at a Whammy!
Jim Hess: GEEZE! F***! S***!
(*foghorn sounds, Jim's window closes*)
Peter Tomarken: ...Pamela, you're our champ for today with $7,278...we'll come back to talk to you about this one right after this.

1971, Hollywood Squares:

Peter (to Charley Weaver): Every night before he went to bed, George Washington would always put his false teeth into something. What?

Charley: Martha!

1972, Hollywood Squares:

Peter (to Paul Lynde): According to Johnny Carson's ex-wife Joanne, after the divorce he sent her a copy of a best-selling book. Which one?

Paul: "Shaft"!

Question:  Name a country in South America
Contestant:  Africa!

I'd have to go with that clip from the Britsh Family Feud seen on many of the compilations where they ask what a person would not do even once, and the contestant answers, "Sex on a train."
