TP: excellent win.

123: Holy crap those prizes were cheap.  Guess that's what happens when TP is won.

BARGAIN BAR: $3000 difference on Boston?!?

BAGGY: Ow.

CLIFFY: fairly easy setup.

MONEY: Exacta! I called it, too...

SCs: My bids:
 :frbs: $18900 (:gotc:)
Random Hot Tub/Trip: $17842 (OVER)

OVERALL: 3/5.

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

Excellent show today. Lots of fun moments and wins.

Triple Play: Whoa, wasn't expecting this again so soon. Also wasn't expecting another win so soon. I was amazed this was won considering so many contestants overprice the Mustangs. Great way to kick things off.

Eazy: Was as its name implies "eazy" today.

BBB: It's seems lately that this game is just impossible to win.

Baggy: Ooh, I thought those trash bags would be in the bag. I was wrong.

Cliffy: This game is working on a "Pappy" like winning streak. It's like Cliffy is impossible to lose now.

MG: There's a nice quick win.

Showcases: I knew as soon as Lillian bid $17,000 that it was gonna be  :gotc:

So...um...why did they wait six and a half weeks to air this thing?  It was an overall good episode, and for cripe's sake, Triple Play was won!  I really don't understand how they're making these schedule decisions.

The game lineup today was pretty cool.  I really doubt they've ever played Barker's Bargain Bar right after Eazy az 1 2 3 before unless they were separated by the Showcase Showdown.

Somebody freakin' needs to lose Cliff Hangers one of these weeks. :P

Triple Play: Whoa, wasn't expecting this again so soon.

Then you weren't paying attention to the schedule.  This was actually the game's first playing of the season; it was supposed to air on October 22.

Call me crazy, but during Money Game, before Luis picked 18, did I hear somebody in the audience yell out "EL CHEAPO!" ?

Triple Play-It's the evil Mustang convertible!  But it wasn't evil for Elva, who won 3 cars!  A rather easy playing compared to some of its other playings this season.

Eazy az 1 2 3-Good thing Junequa didn't listen to the audience, or else she would've lost.

Barker's Bargain Bar-When I first heard Rich said she was playing for 2 trips, I thought Lillian was going to play for a trip to Hawaii.  That's the 2nd game in a row the audience has been wrong.

It's In the Bag-Wow, Hope sure had alot of energy!  Too bad she couldn't win $16,000.  The 4th bag was the tougest one.

Cliffhangers-Yay, we get to see the doors closing on the prize.  Sounds like the sound person was a bit late cutting off the music for the 1st SP...guess they wanted Hans to go higher. :-P  Very good win.

Money Game-An EXACTA to end the 2nd half.

Showcases-I say the next book Stan should publish is the Priceipedia.  I'd buy it. :-)

Those prizes were selected long before Triple Play was won.  They would have still been cheap if Triple Play had been lost.

I liked Money Game, today.  Drew told Luis that it was the easiest game to play, and Luis made it look easy...
Pick #1 - FRONT
Pick #2 - BACK
You Win!  Thanks for Playing!!

Just once, I'd like to see 10 Chances or Check Game played so smoothly and won so easily!!

Also, for some reason, Luis' "fake spin" to the $1.00 hit my funny bone.  I guess it was because he was so obviously trying to be funny.  Drew's reaction was pretty good, too - "Hey!  I didn't see a thing!"

Drew's interactions with all the contestants seems to be getting better each week.  I really like some of the off-handed comments he makes. It was funny to watch him play with Hope's clapper while she was spinning the big wheel!  I somehow just can't see Bob doing that!!

Slam Dunk:  Insanely easy setup.  Even the evil Mustang was an easy choice.  The $26K choice was $3K away (instead of the usual $2K away) from the next highest price, and that was a sure signal that it would be wrong.  This game having two wins this season has to be a record.  I can't recall TP ever being won more than once in a season.

Carey's Cheap Crap:  Yay!  Half-Off cue! :P Pretty interesting hearing this cue for trips.

Baggy:  Fourth?!  The first three bags were easy, but the $5.99 could've been any of the three remaining items.

Hans Game:  I don't know why the yodeling continued after Hans stopped from the first item.

One-Bid #6:  It's been a while since we've had three contestants from the First Four still in the row at the last IUFB.  Nice use of the jib cam for that clock/table.

SC #1:  That won't even cover the boat.  :gotc:

My showcase bids:
:frbs: --$28,710
China--$14,314
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Can someone make a FRTS smiley with the letters inside a suitcase?

Just a thought.

Thanks for the correction Steve. I honestly haven't really paid that close of attention to the schedule.

Bargain Bar:  "more lower"?  Nice grammar there Drew...it finally struck me that when he introduces this game they cut a closeup of the name sign, and then pull back; is this a recent invention for this season or have they been doing that, and I just missed it?

Bargain Bar:  "more lower"?  Nice grammar there Drew...

My mom noticed this too!  :oldlol:
Also did anyone noticed that after like the fourth "one bid" that Luis was laughing like "uh, are we ever going to get up there, or are we not that smart" kind of look!

Triple Play: I missed this one. Drew gave me the outome on the Showcase Showdown.

Eazy az 123: I caught the end of this one. I think I would've took a little more time between the bags and the tea set. I knew the drum set would be [3].

Barker's Bargain Bar (for Both Bon Voyages to Boston and Bermuda): I thought Bermuda would be at least $6000, so I went for that.

Get at least a sheet of paper....

It's in the Bag: I would've had the same setup and outcome here.

Cliff Hangers: What a trick. Non-rounded prices for the first two prizes and and rounded one like 50 for the last one. Didn't fool neither me nor Varun.

One Bid 6: Very interesting. I like that clock table. Kinda wish I had one. The important thing here is which of the guys could be coming up to the stage. Ah, the advantage of the last bid.

Money Game: Oooh, an Exacta! Cool!

Showcases: $1342? Kinda like that $6137 prize a while ago. (I forgot the actual amount.)
