I checked the Who's on When? thread in First Run TPIR, and I discovered there are 4 models scheduled for March 12-19.

Why did CBS decide to have the models appear on the show as a quartet all of a sudden?  This hasn't happened on a regular basis since Holly left in 1995.

Maybe one of the models got hurt/sick during the tapings and another one was able to come by and fill in on short notice?

It's on CBS.com, too, so if there's a typo, Joe's not the one who made it.

armadillo: to answer your question YES.  around 1987 there was a sub model whose name was kyle who regularly filled in if janice, dian, or holly were sick or injured (kyle filled in when janice was injured)
joe:  there were actually two different quartet combinations during the late 80s-early 90s.  the first was janice, dian, holly, and kyle (though kyle subbed more than she played the fourth model) the second was janice, dian, holly, and kathleen, but the four went down to three with dian's departure in the spring of 1993.

No, Dian was replaced by Gena, and Holly was fired in 1995 and was not replaced.

I think I read somewhere where there are going to be 4 models daily now. You might not know this, but Gwendolyn is with child and cant as much walking!

Given that Drew has gone out of his way to point this out on pretty much every show for the last month and a half...yeah, I'd say he probably knows.
