I could be wrong, but IMO, the only good way to play the Price is Right would be on the wii.  That way, you can spin the wheel, and play some of the games using the wii controller.

Interesting...this is the first I've heard of this.  I think I found a picture of it on eBay:

EDIT: And I also found the instruction manual!

http://www.hasbro.com/common/instruct/PRICER.PDF

Yep, that's the one.

Call me bitter, but I'm not looking forward to this version.

Of course, I'm going to complain about incorrect fonts; the old sets; horrible, HORRIBLE 3D avatars. Why is it so difficult for professional video game companies to get game show games "right?"

I'm with you pac, c'mon at least let's get some eggcrate on the shocase podiums.

I say you, me, and Brandon team up and make something super hot, WHAZZUP?

I'm looking forward to Endless Games's 2nd edition TPIR DVD game. They said it would have the new set. I hope it has Drew hosting and the new theme.

I whole-heartedly agree with pac and bigjon.  Of course, why bother with pesky little "details" like properly recreating the set (come on - eggcrate is EASY to find...) when we aren't sure of even the names of the games:

Taken from their website's  Product Page Features list:

Spin the Big Wheel for the chance to compete in the Showdown - where the winner takes all!

Participate in favorite games like Contestant’s Row, the Big Wheel and the Showcase Showdown.

Even if non LFATs may not know the technical name difference between the "Showcase Showdown" round and the "Showcase" Round, they do at least understand there is a fundamental difference between the two...

And Big Jon - as for the potential of you and your crew writing a game, I'd be the first in line on release day Smile

Ludia is false advertising this game.  When I looked at the game website, I noticed that neither Playstation platform is being made.  However, Ludia is making Hell's Kitchen for both PS platforms.  What's going on here?

Alex Davs' BuzzerBlog has a YouTube video of the new game (I don't know if it's the same clip as CGJ's, but anyway...).

CLICK HERE to see it. Amazing.

That vid makes it look more impressive to me. It's too bad that it's not using the updated set design.

That does look pretty darn neat.

Did anybody else notice that Cliff Hangers uses the original mountain climber?

The game looks a lot better from the buzzerblog video. The other one made it look boring, I'm really looking forward to this game!
