2- Freeze Frame is now on the stage rather than being on the turntable. I know some people complained about that, and it was a very easy fix (according to the lead programmer - she's never too happy when I bring up these changes, but hey Smile )

Is it equally as easy to stage Flip Flop correctly, as Steve said earlier (it should be on the turntable)?

Thanks for responding to my questions, JC!  It's great to be able to have direct communication with the people behind the scenes at the video games.  Here are my comments...

We couldn't put a general "save anywhere" function in the game due to memory requirements. Sorry. Sad You can always suspend your DS, however.
I'm disappointed, but at least in this case I know there's a legitimate reason why it won't be included.

The high score feature currently works on a per-profile basis, showing only your very best high score in your profile. I'll talk to the DS guys so that they can add a timestamp. I can't promise anything, but we'll see!
If just the highest score will be recorded for each profile, that's fine... then the option for me to input the date in lieu of a name or initials is not as important (although if you can get it in it'll still be appreciated).  Most video games allow you to record your top ten scores, but since I'm the only one who uses my DS and plays my DS games I don't need to see my initials ten times.

Alright, now it's time for me to ask something of you guys! The game features achievements, and completing all the achievements unlocks a little bonus video. Now, what I'd like to ask you friendly fans is what do you think would be a good video to have as bonus content? Nothing too big, but if you can provide me with what show the video is taken from, we'll request it from Fremantle and mention you guys in the game's credits as special thanks.

I suppose the uncensored version of Yolanda is out of the question!   Twisted Evil

Okay, let's see, how about these...

  • From the first Bob Barker show: his explanation about how 'this is the same Price Is Right you've loved...'  Don't know the production number or airdate of this one.
  • Bob introducing Plinko for the very first time, including his fanciful explanation about how the game got its name... "some of our people drink..."  Don't know the production number or airdate of this one.
  • Possibly the first time Bob mentions his retirement on camera... in which he talks about doing a nude scene!   Surprised  Here's the quote:
    Quote
And so, what I was going to say is, I think I've decided I'm going to take it all off!  (Cheers and applause)  Now, wait!  (Audience chants)  I have to explain to our viewers, that they were talking about "Happy Gilmore" and the fact that it was a successful picture and I hadn't been in more movies, and I said it was because I would not do nude scenes.  But, now that I'm retiring, and that I'm no longer with CBS and with Fremantle Media, that I would take it all off, but the thought of... (cheers and applause) ...now, wait!  Wait.  I should add, it's going to have to be a horror film if I did it.
    (From production #3884K - taped January 8, 2007 (late), aired February 15, 2007)
  • Bob's final comments at the end of his last show, where he thanks the audience for their years and years of support... yes, including the spay and neuter line.  This can be the last unlockable video, because of its historical significance.  (From production #4045K - taped June 6, 2007, aired June 15, 2007)

Here, Coinboy, let me help you out there...

  • From the first Bob Barker show: his explanation about how 'this is the same Price Is Right you've loved...'  Don't know the production number or airdate of this one.
Production #0011D, airdate September 4, 1972.

  • Bob introducing Plinko for the very first time, including his fanciful explanation about how the game got its name... "some of our people drink..."  Don't know the production number or airdate of this one.
Production #4741D, airdate January 3, 1983.

Also, Bob's last show is production #4035K, not #4045K.

Hope this helps!

How about a collection of clips for the unlockable video?

Maybe some really unique clips that we rarely see. Bob's first show is very common on youtube, as is Bob's last show. Maybe the debut of some of the most popular pricing games (ie Plinko), or some reallllllly big wins,

BTW, thanks for answering our questions JC. I'd do a test for you, but I'm in Cornwall, ON...a mere hr and bit away Sad

Here's a reward I had in mind:  A clip of "The DSW Heard 'Round the World" (From 9/18/2006; I can't remember the Production #)
