Hmmm... Mac version forgotten and delayed? (I guess I should be used to that by now!)
The Mac version isn't forgotten
I have a tendency to put it together with PC stuff (I know, I know, it's sort of an outrage to mac-heads
)
But don't worry, it is coming out. I don't have an ETA, but our engine is very portable, so doing a Mac port should be a piece of cake (or so our tech director tells me!)
As for the wheel, there's no power meter per se (in the PC version at least. We're looking for alternatives for the console versions - obviously the Wii will use the Wii Remote) but instead you can grab and spin the wheel with the mouse cursor. Clicking on it also works (for less experienced players).
Now it's pretty apparent that I love to put info between parenthesis!
Don't hesitate if you guys have more questions. I'll try to get an okay for the complete list of pricing games included in the game; I'm sure you guys would enjoy that.

I have a question, again. Is it a go or no go for Playstation3? I mean retail PS3 Blu-Ray disc. This would be great for PS3. A base game disc connected to an online server to download new prizes would be sweet.

Hi JC!
The only request I've got for now is... when you talk about the features and such, try to be specific about if whatever you're talking about applies to all platforms, or just specific ones.
For example - the version of Major League Baseball 2K7 on the Nintendo DS is vastly inferior to the versions on the other gaming platforms, in terms of graphics, gameplay, and such. I realize the DS has limitations that the other consoles might not, but in the case of Major League Baseball 2K7, the difference was like night and day - it's as if, say, whereas the other platforms could handle the real TPIR from Studio 33, and that's what they got - the DS could only handle TPIR Live (the Las Vegas version), but it actually got the home game version complete with prizes that would make the stuff they sell in 99-cent stores seem like luxurious extravagances.
As a DS player, I realize some of the DS games may not have the capabilities to be as extravagant as their Playstation/Wii/Xbox brothers, but on the other hand I don't want to hear about all the cool things that are going to be part of the game only to buy it and find out that everything I've read doesn't apply to the version I've got.
Thanks!

hey there JC! I (and i'm sure I can speak for everyone else here) are REALLY looking forward to the release of this game (i feel like a schoolgirl again...lol, j/k)
I've only got one query for ya and that is this: is the downloadable and retail game the same version, or are there going to be differences in them?
I'm assuming they're the same, just that a retail version would take longer to get to stores, distribute, etc...Just something that ran through my head, and I thought I'd better ask!
Thanks again, and everything i'm hearing/seeing says the game is going to be AWESOME! We wish you well with its release!

I can definitely say it's not coming to the PS3 as a retail Blu-Ray disc. That's pretty much all I can say at the moment.

I'm a DS player as well - I fully understand how you feel. The DS game isn't exactly ready now - we've hired another small studio to do the port for us, but they have all the information to make the game as great as possible. We're also (of course!) giving them a lot of guidance so that the port is as faithful to the PC version as possible. That being said, it IS a smaller platform with slightly less possibilities, but it's no excuse to do a shoddy port. I'd be the first to be very disappointed if the DS port wound up being bad.

We're all happy with your excitement (I'm talking the whole forum!) over here - I'm still amazed at some of the content I see here.
The downloadable version is more or less the same as the retail version - the game modes and such as exactly the same. The only difference is in the audio and video content - it's the same content, only with better quality on the retail version. There's a lot less compression needed on the retail version as the space we have is MUCH larger.

I've got a question I don't think has been answered yet...I like being able to play my way through a normal show, but is there also the option to play a specific pricing game? For example, if I'm in the mood to play Dice Game, can I play that specifically, or if I'm feeling kind of cocky and want to bring up That's Too Much or Check-Out, can I do that? I mean, don't get me wrong, part of the fun of the show is not knowing what games are going to be played, but I'd like to have the option to pick a certain game if wanted to practice it. (I just realized the other day that I'm not too good at small-prize games!
)
Thanks again for sticking around and answering our questions!

This is in no way concrete, but if the screen shot is correct, the games included in this are...
3 Strikes
Bonkers
Check Out
Cliffhangers
Flip Flop
Freeze Frame
Hole In One
Its In The Bag
Master Key
Money Game
Plinko
Punch a Bunch
Push Over
Race Game
Range Game
Shell Game
Then of course theres the One Bids, Showcase Showdown and the Showcases. If the screen Shot is any indication, for the person who was wondering if you can play just a single game quick (Like if you just want to play Push over real quick), it seems like you can. Again, I'm just going by the screen shot on the official site for the game so I don't know if that's the final list. I hope this isn't considered a spoiler, etc. The game Looks awesome!
EDIT : My hunch after looking at the screen shot again is you might be able to earn games doing different things to play them whenever. Theres little dollar signs next to certain games, so I wonder if those are unlocked or something like that?

Nice props for the game. But i'm I the only one who is going to say this but does the graphics seems a little off, since I have been a video game user for a long time. I imagine something that can be beat out like the graphics used on games made by Electronic Arts "EA". There's are pretty real life looking. No offense JC, but spot on with the taste for the game.
Another thing, why the Season 31 1/2 to 34 props, I think it was better the classic props from those yesteryears? In my opinion!
I'm going to get it for both the Wii, for the family. But in my own way, I have it in my cell, but soon for my PC laptop for on the go...
Keep it up, and for a second version, try to make it life like, something that can beat out EA. Please put the Drew props!

They began creating this game before the Drew set was revealed. I think it looks great and we shouldn't complain about the sets. They look great! They put a lot of hard work into this game. If this game does well they may do a second edition with Drew-era sets, but for now let's just be happy with what we have.

Sorry...I know I'm probably gonna get smacked around for this one, but I think the sets from Sea. 35 were the second best sets the show ever had!
And yes...we need a Diabeetus commercial...along with a snappy lil' Hoveround ad! Mine didn't cost me one penny!

I like the Season 35 sets a lot. I didn't have any problem with them at all.
