One comment before I recap: Damn, is that a lot of red.

Cruises have long been my least favorite prizes to price. I mean, we don't call them FRCs for nothing. Either practically everyone garfs it, or, like today, almost everyone goes up in flames.

If you were one of three lucky players to not die on SC1, unfortunately, there was one hurdle left, and NCC-2000 had a true heartbreak of an overbid by only NINE DOLLARS  on the piano.

So then there are two. The winner, with a total difference of $791 and a $37 DSW on the cruise: Joe_Mello.

And then PriceFan985, but that's been old news for weeks.

B****es.  I normally have a day like this about once or twice a year, so better late than never.

For all you who busted out, just because GSM uses a $9,000 Alaskan Cruise doesn't mean Price does.  You also have to remember that the PTC is cheap as free.  Also, between the Showcases, I had down 3 sub-1000 prizes.

While it probably doesn't matter now, I thought my Money total would be $53,445: the 37,341 for the DSW and an additional 16104 for being best on the Bank without busting.

If I had only bid $21,000 instead of $21,500 on the cruise, i would've nailed the elusive doubling on both showcases...
