All told, the bidding today was of rather good quality. A large field of players and only three overbids (about 10%) and while there was some moderate garfing (it
is Friday, after all), most people did pretty well.
stormy41992 managed to wake up in time to play and whaddya know, he won points, and the Spa package! sideshowPA will be happy to put his name on his weekly recap with $57,420 in cash from the car.
The second half of the CSS Season is very nearly upon us. Last year we played 171 games, so the end of next week will be the halfway point. If you've played 60 games, you'll be above the line at the end. sideshowPA and I will discuss how we're going to work playoffs this year.
Also, with the upcoming Prime Time shows, I must remind everyone that these shows WILL have a CSS (provided that there are no leaks to the media regarding the outcomes), but the results will NOT count towards the leaderboard. We're discussing having a special Prime Time leaderboard for the six shows, and whoever wins that MAY get special consideration at playoff time... maybe a bye to the second round or something, but we shall see!
If it's Fireball, he doesn't NEED special consideration for ANYTHING!
