we're just 4 days away from March so now's as good a time as any to restart a college hoops thread.  I called it at work today Vandy pulled the upset over the Vols just now.

Watching College Hoops is annoying.  Do they ALL try and yell something as the away team tries to make a basket?  The constant 'Oooooohhhhhh' psych out thing is so 5th grade :)...

Other than that, it's not a bad way to waste an hour...

Watch out for the SIU Salukis!  They got off to a pretty lousy start this year but have now won 5 in a row.  They beat Bradley 71-60 last night on ESPN2 on the road.  Bradley's best player (who went to my high school) was suspended for beating up his girlfriend.

I'm just worried that no teams from Philadelphia makes the tourney this year.

Villanova needs a good run in the Big East tourney (at least to the semi-finals), St. Joseph's need at least to get to the Atlantic 10 tourney finals in Atlantic City and Temple needs to get to the semi-finals.  Neither Penn, Drexel or LaSalle (of whom a friend of mine calls "LaSucke") will get to the party.

Jay Bilas said that Tyler Hansborough was an even greater competitor than one Michael Jeffery Jordan, whom Bilas played against in college.

Love watching the kid play.  He is a true junkyard dog.

As an Explorer, I take offence. We killed the Hawk and we'll kill the Owl. Don't count us out yet.

I pay very little attention to college basketball during the regular season, but when March Madness comes around, I'm all ears.
That being said, as usual, I have no idea who is good and who isn't up until the tournament seeding.
So, I'll defer to the college basketball "experts" that are on this board with the following question:

Who's going to take it all in 2008?
"The most famous game on The Price is Right is Plinko..." "Which I don't get, honestly."

UNC

They have the right blend of toughness and talent.  Ty Lawson is also a hell of a player...........

The only team I've really been paying attention to is the UConn Huskies, my home team.  How far do you think they'll go this season?

Also, who do the experts favor on the women's side?
