Very nice recap. IMO, there should be more TNPiR'94 recaps.

One question, Doreen's grand total came out to $4951. Did Doug mention that? As a matter of fact, not to sound nit-picky, but what were his exact words?

I do have more TNPIR 94 episodes and I plan to recap them too.

And out from my head I think Doug just said that Doreen won a "bunch of nice things". He did not remember the prizes she got during Most Expensive and the total was not ever mentionned, even on screen.

The TPIR'94 Nighttime Intro

I actually get flashbacks of WTVD-11 when I see the Barker clips during the intro, even though it aired on channel 5 in Durham, NC, LOL!

I thought Doug did a decent job with his version...I used to watch it while doing my homework back in middle school.  Some people didn't like it, but I thought it was cool. :-D

I actually have this episode! 11-1994...I actually thought it was the 3rd episode ever taped. Boy was I wrong...

I used to get up at 3:00 AM to watch this on WDZL-Ch. 39 (Miami, FL). When Mr. Vargas sent me some DVDs, I ended up getting THREE TNPiR'94 episodes! And one of them (not this one, unfortunately :-( was from WDZL (now WBZL-which will soon become Miami's CW affiliate)!

Actually Daniel, it may be possible that this was the third episode to be taped. Since I did not label the time I recorded the episode back then, and the fact that this was 14 years ago, it might be possible that this was aired back in September. Or it might be a repeat aired in November, or that the episodes were airing out of order.
