I agree with many of you on here — this was a very appropriate game to have in the TPiR pricing game rotation. Which three prizes cumulatively total more than the three you give back?

Here, contestants are rewarded with skill and savvyness, and could often (but not always) make up for one mistake.

Perhaps using the "Finish Line" version of this game — same rules, only with horse racing as the theme — would make it more interesting and more appealing to return to the pricing game lineup.

It was a good game, that i saw on youtube the green colorscheme was the best because it blended in with the turntables' border at the time of the pink-brown-orange one.

Did it ever occur that at the end of the game the Give amount was the same as the Keep amount?

Huh?  Not always--sometimes, the Give column would be the same as the Keep column.  In that case, the contestant would win.

Now here's one of the only two games that should NOT have been retired. Give or Keep is a lot of fun - try to pick out three prizes out of the six and you keep the six most expensive. It's like Hi-Lo, except with small prizes and your goal is to keep more than you give away. I liked the game board a lot, as it was simplistic and it was a lot of fun. Apparently, the staff didn't like this fun game, yet they keep Clearance Sale and Swap Meet. I don't get it either, but that's another story.

($uper $aver is the other game that should not have been retired. Had Bob not screwed up on that one playing, it would've still been played today) I'm going to give Give or Keep 10/10. It's a classic and it deserves another chance to be played.

I think I reviewed this game years ago, but the old postings are gone.

Give or Keep is probably my favorite retired game. It's so simple to play: choose the higher priced item, and if you keep more than you give, you win the bonus prize. Plus, there's no losers: at minimum you win three small prizes. Oh, watching the prizes spin around the turntable was too cool! The wide shot for the first set of prizes was the best!

10/10. I still miss this game!

How does that have anything to do with reviewing the game?

One of my favorite games. It was unique because the game was already revealed on the turntable.

9/10.

This is one of my all-time favorite RETIRED Pricing Games.
I never really understood why the game was retired after so many years on the show.  The blue color scheme w/ the matching small prize podiums used from 1983-1990 (when the game retired) was my favorite.  I always thought this game could contiune on at least throughout Bob's years on the show.

Fun Game, I enjoyed seeing it and it was a lot of fun to play too.
