Lucky Seven has been played three times in a row??  Wow.  That's overkill IMO.  And Lucky Seven is one of my favorites.

I wish Susan had won Any Number as well.  She was a great contestant.

What surprises me, is that we're halfway through this recent primetime package, and there has been no sign of the big three (i.e. Golden Road, Triple Play and Three Strikes).  Although I can understand if it's budget constraints due to the two million dollar wins.  Last night's show had cars in the $20,000-$30,000 range (although I'm not sure about those Lincoln's.  I think they're about $32,000 or $35,000).

Hopefully next time will be a Lucky Seven-less show and one of the big three will make an appearence.

A#: Ow.  I really wanted her to win that car.

PLINKO: Again? And as the Million Dollar Game? I thought Rangey as the MDG was tough...

RACEY: Another tough setup.  At least it was nice to see this game again.

L7: AGAIN??? No Dobstopper this time, though.

BAGGY: Can't Stop the Dom! Another game gets Dom Casual on it.

SQUEEZEY: This is one game I actually would have won.

SCs: Wow...SC1 was very...un-MDS-like.  This seemed like it could have been a daytime showcase.  We have another millionaire! I would have been a millionaire on it, too. My bids:
      Perfect Wedding: 42000 (:dsw:)
      Pairs: 67000 (diff. 13578)

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

Guys, please remember that these shows are being run out of order.  So far, we've seen the first, fourth, and fifth MDSs.  So no, Lucky $even hasn't appeared "three times in a row."

Any #:  God bless Susan and her successful cancer treatment!  Ooooh, a Jeep Wrangler Limited!  I do believe this is the first time one of those has been offered on this show.  Susan made it exciting with the full count, but got stuck with that damn piggy bank.  She deserved better than that.  We all called 8 in the chatroom.

One-Bid #2:  Wow... expensive stereo system.

$100,000 Plunko:  Three $20,000 hits for a shot at the million?  Did somebody say "impossible"?  Primetime Plinko must be cursed or something.  I can't remember the last time anybody hit the $20,000 slot.

Race:  Yay!  Primetime Race Game! :P I can't believe the computer was the most expensive of the four prizes.  I thought for sure $3,399 went with the home gym.  That home gym was MASSIVE!

SCSD #1:  All right!  $30,000!  That makes up for a winless first half.

L7:  AGAIN?!  That's three consecutive primetime shows with L7!  (Although these MDSs have been aired out of order and last week's playing was a substitute for 3X.)  But it was great to see it in the second half, especially the 4-hole.  Lyric didn't have a prayer in this game.  $27,687 was definitely a :clipboard: price.  I expected either one or both of the last numbers to be 4 or lower.

$24,000 Baggy:  In the 5-hole!  And Drew actually called it by its proper name!  And what's this?  Dom Casual bags, product placards, and cash amounts!  Can't stop the Dom!  I knew Michael was gone when he didn't put the vitamins in the $14.99 bag.

One-Bid #6:  The wall bed returns!

Squeezy:  Oh no!  A primetime 0-for-6!

SC #1:  Oooooh, I like that bid!

SC #2:  Segways and Lincolns!  Tres cool!

My showcase bids:
300--$42,007
Lincolns--$64,307

Result:  YES!  It happened again!  Another millionaire!  Anybody else besides me realize that Drew has given away three $1,000,000 prizes on CBS in the past 7 months, yet Howie Mandel can't even give away his first $1,000,000 with 50:50 odds?
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Except that, except for the 5 or 6 of the membership of this board who would have that knowledge, no one else would know that they were being aired out of order, which makes the point a bit moot.

And knowing CBS, they'll order two more for a May sweeps special?

Which also means you missed my point.  While you can say that Lucky Seven hasn't been played 3 times in a row, no one watching the shows on CBS would know that.  To everyone else, they have played Lucky Seven 3 times in a row.  My point is that if CBS really wanted variety in the games shown, they wouldn't have messed with the order the shows were taped in.

If these shows are running out of order, then it wouldn't make sense for CBS to air 2 of the MD winners in the first 3, so I'm going to assume that we're getting at least one more million dollar winner before these MDSs end. They're going to have to tweak the format again. If someone won the million everytime on Millionaire or DoND, it'd get very boring very fast. I don't want that to happen to TPiR.

Which, again, is exactly why I'm explaining it.  I don't see what's so hard for you to understand about this.

My point is that if CBS really wanted variety in the games shown, they wouldn't have messed with the order the shows were taped in.

Taping order is completely irrelevent.  In fact, the 2nd MDS, which hasn't aired yet, was taped after all the others.

Furthermore, how do you know CBS paid any attention to the game lineups?  (Not that I'm saying they didn't, but I don't know any more than you do.)

Ooooh, a Jeep Wrangler Limited!  I do believe this is the first time one of those has been offered on this show.

Yeah, and I didn't know they started offering Wranglers in 2WD.  My dad's ashes are ready to combust in his urn for that.

I fully understand it.  But complaining about other people commenting on it (the 3 in-a-row aired Lucky Seven playings) isn't relevant.  You know that when the shows were taped, in order, from MDS 1 to MDS 6, that Lucky Seven wasn't played 3 times in a row.  However, CBS didn't air them that way, and by airing them in the order they've chosen, 3 shows in a row have aired in a row with Lucky Seven in it.  It's a piece of trivia that we (collectively, this board) now knows, but knowing it doesn't change the fact that a little variety might have been nice.

1.)  I repeat:  They weren't taped in order.  They were taped 1-3-4-5-6-2.  (Not that that really has much to do with this.)

2.)  The proper order has been known for a week and a half.  They've been in the timeline, the calendars, and Joe's recaps.  (Okay, I admit I haven't sent Scorpz the update for this Friday yet, but you can still go in there and see that the spots that are filled in are the first one and the fourth one.)

3.)  I agree that CBS is being goofy about this.  What bugs me is that people are complaining about the lineups themselves when those aren't really the issue.  It's much simpler to just say, "Well, the 2nd and 3rd shows haven't been aired yet, so I can understand how this might happen," and move on...and it's not like no one had the resources available to look up that information.  It's no different than the complaints about, "Oh, such-and-such is getting played too much!" or, "Why haven't I seen so-and-so in two weeks?" during the repeating lineup episodes -- they're being made without a full understanding of the facts, and that's something that it's not in my nature to just let happen while I sit around twiddling my thumbs.

As per a post on Invision, Michael Haynes appeared on PYL in January 1984 and won $10,600, including a trip to St. Thomas.
