CHECKY: I would have written the check for $1800...and would have won.  I know Mexico is cheap, but it isn't that cheap.

HOLEY: Wow...that box of jelly beans was a LOT more than I thought.  She thought differently than I did and got to putt from the closest line!  Meanwhile, Drew misses another inspiration putt...

OWP: I said the wine cooler was wrong...and would have been right and won.

"X": I would have had both Xs.  She got lucky there.

COVER: I said 18,125 first...then 18,325 after seeing that the 3 was right.

DP: Easy pickings.

SD2: Wow...that's a lot of digging! The wheel is on fire today!

SCs: :gotc:! Neither bid covered the "big" prize in the SC.  That Paris trip in SC1 was cheap! My bids:
Cheap Paris Trip/ :frts:- 42000 (OVER...)
     Random ATV: 15400 (diff. 4654)

OVERALL: 3/5.

Drew's "Inspiration Putt": Pulls left, and a bit too strong.

You didn't mention that he did the putt without looking! Honestly, I don't think he should do the inspiration putt. He's not a golfer. And it ain't much of an inspiration.

My jaw about fell off during Hole in One when the price of the jelly beans was revealed.  The contestant was so not supposed to get to the sixth line today.

You know, Cover Up has got to be one of the most frustrating games on the show.  It's such an easy game if you know how to play it properly...except nobody does.

The second Showcase Showdown was awesome...although not having Dig We Must playing when Francis won $6,000 was really, really awkward.

The end of the Showcase was funny, mainly because Robert didn't realize he'd won even after Drew announced Heather's difference.

So on that basis should we also declare today's player ineligible? She wasn't a golfer, either - and it showed. Result notwithstandng, her form was that of one who never played in their life.

I know what you mean. It just sounded like someone got a digit right in Pathfinder, or a perfect bid on an IUFB ...

Check Game - My cheque would've been for $2200, for a win by $44!
Hole in One - I had the jellybeans and the nasal spray mixed up (I figured the beans to be about $8). Given how awkwardly she was holding the putter, I was really worried about Louise missing.
One Wrong Price - I would've gone with the guitar.
Secret X - I half expected the Secret X to have been on the bottom row.
Cover Up - My guess for the 4th digit was 6.
Double Prices - There was no way that bed would've only been $2418.

Wow... the jelly beans were more expensive than usual today.  I thought putting the nasal spray before the jelly beans would lead to doom.  Or, I guess, putting from the fourth line ain't exactly doom, but... well, I figured it would be a little harder to win, anyway.

I wonder why Dig We Must wasn't played when Francis won $5000 in his bonus spin.  The clangs alone felt kinda' naked there.

Ragnar looked like he'd be have been fun.  Guess he kinda' blew his one and only bid, though.

Really cool first sing-songy showcase.

Heather was pretty lucky in Secret X today with winning only one X.  Also, I wonder why Bart didn't do the close-up of the board as the panel was coming around, like he usually does.  That was one of the cooler reveal shots he has done recently.

Lucky that Roger was kind enough to put the X in the middle, anyway ;).  And has Secret "X" been played since the repeated lineups?  If not, I hope that turning shot isn't gone.  It was a cool new shot.

Yes, February 7.  It was also played January 29; I think that was either at the end of the repeated line-ups or the beginning of the usual line-up.

I posted something here about the stats about someone bidding $1 more than a previous bidder but the post didn't go through because I had to switch user on this computer.

In short, this season there were 88 episodes which had at least one occurance of this, for a total of 250 "rows" of this behavior.  By comparison, by the time season 31 had aired 88 episodes, there were 330 "rows" of this.

In season 36, contestant #4 has a higher win percentage than did in season 31, but there were more occurances in season 31 of someone bidding $1 more than a previous bidder, 250 rows this season to 330 rows in season 31 for the same number of episodes.   I'm still going to post my stats on line at Geocities  But I got not much response last time I did.  I wrote this post then switched this computer over to another user I swear I hit the "post" button but I got "warning while you were writing this, 2 new replies have been posted" and I couldn't find my post.

Edit: ahh, here's my post.

January 29 was a repeating lineup show that was aired out of order.
