Money Game question
« on: March 16, 2008, 08:41:26 PM »
Starting in season 35, it seems that every time they play Money Game they have the # of the current season (now 36) on the center top of the game board.  Does anyone know why they started doing that and has it ever been the correct choice for the last two numbers in the price of the car offered on a particular playing?

Good eye.  They did this starting in season 35.  As far as I know, they just do this for fun.  And, I haven't watched every single show, but I have never seen the 35 or 36 be the correct choice in money game.

Believe it or not, on March 22 and April 26, 2007, 35 was the correct choice for the back half of the car.  On the former playing, the contestant picked it and ended up pulling an exacta.

It will be interesting to see this season if 36 is the correct choice for the last two numbers (or first two if they play Money Game for a car that expensive) in the price of a car.

I was in the audience for the latter taping, and boy was I surprised to see that.  That day was Roger at his meanest, if I recall.

The March 22 taping was the one I was there for and was the 5th game on the day that turned into Bob's third ( and last forever :( ) perfect show of S35.

Guess who fingered up that choice to the contestant that day!  (hell ensued shortly thereafter...but ooooooh that was fun getting the contestant to pick that # that day!).

God I'm gonna miss being in studio and blowing em out . . .

I'm sure if Dob wants to, he will one day.  :P
