Seeing it used in Pick-a-Pair today set me wondering, do they really keep the ice cream in the containers when it's used as a potential item?  With all the lights trained on the stage, they'd run a serious risk of melting it, after all.

I'm pretty sure its empty. Remember that Rootbeer Keg earlier this week, that thing must have been empty. Apparently it has 5 Liters and that could cause some trouble when the model had to lift it so I guess its empty.

Usually when the grocery item requires refrigeration, they remove whatever is inside of it.  The close observer can occasionally see tape holding frozen food boxes shut.

But it certainly would be a chuckle if there really was ice cream in there, and it started to melt and ooze out of the container.
