Dear Ludia,

I just finished playing my entire 30 minute trial (thought I could keep going as long as I didn't quit but it threw me off....smart computer).

You've done amazing work, almost better then I could ever imagine.  The real clips are amazing, giving you exactly what you are bidding on from the show.

I managed to get pretty far, but lost on the Showcase Showdown 5 times.  You have some experts spinners in those computer players!!

I would assume that it is completely random which position you are put in for spinning, but it would more realisitic that winning a certain amount put you last, second, or first.

Other then that, everything seems great.  I don't know why you decided to go with only four prizes for Hole in One and It's In The Bag, though.

Great job to the entire team, and I am anxiously waiting my Wii edition!

Sincerely,
Flerbert419

I just noticed a slight mistake.  In this game, when 2 players tie for a dollar on the wheel, the wheel's position is reset to the nickel for the first person's bonus spin, but not for the second player's.  In real life, the wheel would be set to the .05 for both bonus spins if I'm not mistaken.

This game is phenomenal by the way.  I can't wait to play through the Classic Game mode in the retail version!

I had a great time playing my demo and I'm working on upgrading to the unlocked edition. I'm not going to nitpick to the bone, as it is presented very well. Very well done Ludia!

And here's me, playing on my Mac through VMWare - it runs quite well inside the VM:

This game is entirely too realistic.

My first trip to the Showcase, I went over by exactly $294.

My luck over the next four Showcase Showdowns meant this was the only Showcase I saw.

And when I played Three Strikes, I drew, in order, X, 6, X, X.

So, obviously, I love it.  Smile

It's a wonderful game, I'm probably going to buy it in a week or two. I did find a problem though, you don't get a bonus spin if you land on a $1.00 during a spin-off (that happened to me in the first game). I like how interactive it is and the way the video clips were spliced together. Rich's narration is excellent.

I have to say that the game itself is quite good; I'll probably buy the full download next week.  Anyways, the presentation itself is spot-on; there's a few nitpicky things here and there.  Overall, I felt like I was back in Los Angeles for a second!  Very Happy

I'm really glad to see all the die-hard fans are receiving this game well!

I just wanted to take a quick moment to thank JC (and now Dom!) for being so open with our group here.  You guys realize that several of your recommendations were actually well received by the good folks at Ludia and you helped develop this game into something spectacular!

I think all of our members owe a great deal of thanks to JC and Dom for his creative artwork for keeping in constant contact here.  It just goes to show you that a Company actually cares about what the customers want to see.

As JC mentioned, Ludia is working on getting us a few copies to giveaway and we'll do something to get it out to you guys soon.

Thanks everyone.

To throw really my two cents in the pot.

To Ludia-=I commend you on creating a excellent game. I said it before in the other thread, that even though the game maybe doesnt have every pricing game ever seen,or all that stuff, that what makes up for that is the attitude with which you approached the creation of this game, and that includes listening to what the people that are going to play the game, want to see,and considering those suggestions just as Equaly. That as well as answering questions people have about the game to the best of your abilities, and doing so with the attitude that no question is a "stupid question".

This is primarly (besides my love for TPIR) that I bought the game straight away without even using a single second of  the free trial time. I know I probably could have gone after a giveaway "Free copy" but I would rather support this game by having paid for it,because I will be the first to support any game devloper that treats it's customers (or game players) with this kind of respect, and encouraging suggestions, because no suggestion should ever be treated as a stupid one.

JC and Dom,keep up the good work, because you have already started off on the right foot with this game, and I love it.  Smile

Great job on this game, guys! Of all the versions I've played (Tiger handheld, Endless DVD, Gamesville), this one is the most accurate, and the most fun.

(By the way, I'm "Geoff" on the group GOLDENRD.)

Sorry about the big Casey tag there, I don't know how to edit my post. I guess Casey won't miss it  Razz

I'm DOM on the GOLDENRD group, with my little 30K score Razz  I can't believe someone already broke the 100K!

And thanks for the trust and support, hobbitrjw. That's awesome. Everyone's comments, praise, plinko stories, suggestions, questions and support really is a great boost for me personnally, I guess everyone at work feels the same!

After playing the trial,
THE GAME IS COOL!!!! and I will try to pay for the game and retail for the Wii soon.
I think this is the best (official) TPiR game ever and the graphics are excellent.

Keep up the good work, and maybe, hope to see a patch for more games and/or choice of the Barker look and Drew look in a future edition!

(BTW, I'm "Matthew" on the group GOLDENRD.)

Dom,you are quite welcome. If there is anything that I can say about me it is that I will be the first to Praise people that work on things like this with a good attitude, but at the same time I will also be the first to complain when I feel like Myself and/or others have been treated with disrespect, and I must say mainly from reading and observing things like questions and suggestions for your game, you guys Deserve all the respect in the world, and I truly hope that this feedback that I am giving here reaches anyone else over there at Ludia that worked so hard on this game, because they should be really proud of their hard work.  Smile

Out of blind faith and a lot of excellent reviews, I bought the game.  I won a One-Bid...Won three Plinko chips (and won $0)...went over on Big Wheel...Lost One-Bid...Won $40,000 on Cliff Hangers...went over again on Big Wheel...finished first-ever game with $42,949...Became a Wheel Wonder!

Despite losing the Big Wheel, it is actually cool you can click-and-drag the mouse icon to move it up, then down, to spin it.  Both the programmers and Rich Fields did a great job with this game!   Cool
