I plan on getting this for the DS, what will the differences be with the DS version?
The DS version has touch-screen controls, 4 less pricing games (due to space constraints) and a lot less speech (again due to space constraints). Otherwise it's pretty much the same game - we're doing a LOT of work these days on polishing up the DS version.
I managed to get pretty far, but lost on the Showcase Showdown 5 times. You have some experts spinners in those computer players!!
I would assume that it is completely random which position you are put in for spinning, but it would more realisitic that winning a certain amount put you last, second, or first.
Yeah, I'll admit I can also get frustrated with the computer player spins on the Showcase Showdown

But it's just like it is on the show - it's still pretty hard to win it!
The position for spinning isn't random, actually. We designed a small algorithm that takes into account what you've won in One Bid and the pricing game and distributes that over randomly generated values to give you your position.
This game is entirely too realistic.
That's probably one of the highest praises we can get, thanks

It's a wonderful game, I'm probably going to buy it in a week or two. I did find a problem though, you don't get a bonus spin if you land on a $1.00 during a spin-off (that happened to me in the first game).
This was a ruling we didn't have - I'll make sure to have it corrected. Thanks.
This is primarly (besides my love for TPIR) that I bought the game straight away without even using a single second of the free trial time. I know I probably could have gone after a giveaway "Free copy" but I would rather support this game by having paid for it,because I will be the first to support any game devloper that treats it's customers (or game players) with this kind of respect, and encouraging suggestions, because no suggestion should ever be treated as a stupid one.
Thanks for your support. Now the game has been released on many major portals (MSN Games, Yahoo games, Bigfishgames, etc) - however, we do get less money for copies sold through these portals. Feel free to purchase the game from anywhere (this is supporting us either way) but if it's done via our own site we get a bit more, which helps. We're a small company (we're around 35 people) and every little bit helps!
I'm DOM on the GOLDENRD group, with my little 30K score Razz I can't believe someone already broke the 100K!
It's freaking incredible, isn't it?
OK, with that said, then, is the XBLA version going to be like this download version, or is it going to be like the full retail version? If it's like the download version, then I'll just wait to buy it until it comes out there. If it's like the full retail version (classic mode and all), then I'll probably end up unlocking the download version here (now that i've blown through the 30-minute trial) and buying the XBLA version as well.
I'm not 100% certain about the features of the XBLA version - this is mainly due to size restrictions. I won't get too technical, but there's a size limit to XBLA games; with the amount of videos and speech we have we already pretty much fill the size restriction. We also need to support 720p, so that means higher resolution art and videos. XBLA is a big challenge and we haven't had the time to massively jump into it yet so I can't say for certain what will be included. Sorry

Another large post! I'd like to say thanks on behalf of the entire team for your support. Everyone is incredibly happy that you guys are enjoying the game; I feel that if we managed to please you guys, the most hardcore of the hardcore, we have a pretty good chance of succeeding. Your comments are putting smiles on everyone's faces (Dom was especially giddy yesterday!). It's making coming to work every day that much easier
