I can't believe twice in today's show, we had a contestant make a bid, then try to complain that they made a completely different bid.  After listening carefully to Veronica's bid on the first item up for bids, there is absolutely no way that her first bid was $2000.  None.  Absolutely no doubt in my mind that she indeed said $10,000, and repeated "10" later on.  Kinda' feel bad for Drew, thinking he just misheard her, when he'd heard her exactly right.  Then later, Dorothy's $800 bid when she meant $1800.  Almost postive she said $800, and not $1800.  Trying to listen carefully again, I'm almost positive there was no "teen" slipped in there.

Speaking of Dorothy, does anyone know why she was showing off the back of her shirt?  Not that there's anything wrong if there's some cool, or even dull message maybe, but the back of her shirt was just completely blank....

Drew accidentally made Grand Game a lot easier than it was probably meant to be, since the Phillips was probably the toughest safe product there.  And the CLR was a lot more expensive than I would've guessed.  Could've easily seen someone picking that over the Phillips.  Wonder if Roger's going to start always putting the easiest product on that first little table, just in case.

Is the red graphic for Grand Game permanent?  That's a real shame... already get enough of the red version during the showcase showdowns.  The green for Grand Game was both appropriate, considering the color scheme for the game, and cool that it wasn't the "regular" version.  Really, I'm surprised they'd change the green graphic for Grand Game, yet keep the extremely-rarely used blue one for Punch a Bunch.  Go figure.

Drew really seemed to love Shell Game.  Hilarious when Drew mentioned the $500 bonus after it couldn't be won, then mentioned that he probably shouldn't have mentioned it :oldlol:!

BEST CONTESTANT OF THE DAY: Frank picks

Laura.  For no better reason than her being from New Orleans, really.  Which is a pretty darn good reason if you ask me.  Wish WWL did contestant interviews like some affiliates do.

Any Number: Drat.

Grand Game: Yikes, it's Drew's first major flub!  Great win by Danielle.

One Right Price: I thought this was tricky.  I didn't expect the Vanity to be that expensive.

Money Game: Argh.  Troy gets off to such a great start - not many contestants get the first two numbers on the first guess - but he doesn't know the general guidelines to finding the back half.  Frustrating.

Shell Game: The moment Rich started to say "It's a great prize worth... $4,645!", I started rejoicing.  Since the game was almost definately not Grocery Game, having been played last week, there are only two other such games to my knowledge that are played on the turntable - Shell, and Joker.  I love both those games.  In this case, an extremely rare appearance by Shell - and a nice win by John.

Range Game: The trip offered was more expensive than I thought it'd be.  Ouch.
ChinookUT: Avid Price watcher since ~1985

Any #: The goshdarn piggy bank strikes again!!!!

Grand: Drew showing the caplets price accidentally through me off-guard. But we'll just let that slide. Good win.

1RP: I didn't think this game would be won, either. Good job.

Money: After a great start, It went downhill. I would've loss on this one, too.

Shell: Sad not to see Drew's favorite SP won. Still, We got another win.

Range: I would've blown this one, too. They need to stop making those wide shots before the reveal so obvious.

Showcases: I bid $26,100 on that showcase with the flippin' Dodge Nitro.

A 3-star show.

Any Number: Not another piggy bank win again!

Grand Game: Drew needs to be careful around price reveals.

One Right Price: Yay! Laura won! I thought she was such a sweetheart.

SCSD #1: Aw... I wanted Laura to win.

Money Game: The reverse front-&-back trick was used this time.

Shell Game: Nice to see this underrated game again.

Range Game: Aw! I wanted Michelle to win. She was sweetheart #2 today.

SCSD #2: Aw... I wanted Michelle to win.

Showcases: I would have thought the one with the Dodge Nitro would be more expensive than it was.

Decent show today.
